They can´t. Alistair´s claim for the throne is - according to the Fereldan law - stronger. And if they should try revolting they are traitors and can be imprisoned ot executed without breaking the law.

Where oh where do you get the idea that Ferelden law dictates that the blood claim of a bastard child unrecognized by his fathe was stronger? Eamon claims it is but he's in love with the Theirin bloodline. It's not any stronger than Anora's or else you wouldn't get to pick who goes on the throne. Neither actually has any claim which is why it's politics and comes down to supporters. There is no heir to be found. And if you declare that Alistair will rule with you and everyone tells you you're being an idiot and can't do that and Alistair insists that you will rule with him and he won't rule alone then he is not King yet - and by the way he isn't officially King until the coronation - and so deciding to choose the candidate who isn't trying to put an elven mage on the throne isn't even remotely treason. This is still the deciding process.

I think Improved ConceptArtstair illustrates where I've been going wrong with Alistair on his DW specs. Much as the big shinies are attractive, in order to get DW Mastery, you have to pump dex so high that str gets left behind and he can't wear the big metal suits. I think I should keep him to longsword-dagger and put those points into str so he can wear big shinies rather than wield them.

I tried DW Alistair again with my CE tank. He got respected to 2H again because it is bad ass. Just can't handle him dual wield, I need to be able to incapacitate my enemies with shield/pommel.
