Sarel is indeed a ****** but I also like most of the others. I sided with the wolves once for the achievement but really I don't see the point when you can end the curse and keep everyone happy (even Zathrian gets redemption that way, not that he deserves it). The werewolves don't have a very happy epilogue either, if you kill the elves.

I feel like Rogues should have at least one skillset exclusive to them. They share DW and archery with warriors, but warriors get the added bonus of S&S and 2h. Rogues need something extra roguey. Archery for a warrior never made much sense to me anyway.

Rogues get double the rogue skills (geared toward melee fighting) compared to warriors who only get 8

The point is that you get Werewolves and not pansy elves for your army.
I would assume that's the logic those who pick the werewolf option go for. That or an inexplicable hatred of the Dalish.

Remember the GW are charged with the blight and will do whatever is necessary. The werewolves kicked serious butt at the final battle.

You can't really know that they will follow through on their promise to help, however.  Whereas the treaty between the GWs and the Dalish has lasted for hundreds of years, the werewolves are only one small band versus many Dalish clans.  If the GWs are going to undertake murderous genocide to end the Blight, it should at least make sense.

They don't show the kids, but they most probably either die or get cursed.
They should have shown it. Because as it is, the Werewolf option looks way cooler than it should.

I was trying to be hopeful Posted Image Its like the execution scene with Loghain right in front of his daughter.  No child should have to see a parent murdered in such a brutal fashion

I went the route that I was going to make Zathrein break the curse by force. He refuses and you battle. I am not saying this is the right way or it isn't, I am saying that I can RP it either way.

I DO enjoy killing him, I just wish there were an option to take her from the room before you do it.  Its brutal in front of her and having daddy's blood splash all over her.

They ask you what you want for helping and you say aid against the blight. It makes sense, Zatriene cursed how many generations of humans because of his hatred. I again am not saying this is right or wrong, but I can RP it either way. I don't enjoy playing through the game a thousand times the same way each time.

Oh. Oh my god. The Fade sequence is hilarious with a female char. XD

I sadly realized I have no male chars I can use for this. If someone wants to send me a save, I would be able to make a more appropriate video. *looks at syl* Your HNM is pretty hot...

How do I make a save for you? I did it once for Cme but I have a memory like a sieve, send me a PM and remind me how?

Personally, I found that is what makes it awesome.  I do a Nelson style "ha-ha" whenever I see that scene.

Of course, there's also a good chance I'm going to hell Posted Image

I'm different because I always strive for "the perfect character". Not to mention I tend to take breaks from games and when I come back, I usually go with my first decisions.

I can't play through the same way each time. I would be bored out of my mind. It is a really cool scene, I have a harder time justifying killing Connor than killing the Dalish. His mother is willing to die so why should I kill a child?

People care about Anora's feelings?

I must be de-sensitized to violence (which is funny, considering I can't watch overly-violent movies) but it didn't strike me that they killed Loghain in front of his daughter and it got blood on her. My biggest issue was thinking thar Ferelden has a crappy justice system.

One day away from barbarism indeed.

Anora doesn´t either.

On the other hand, Maric killed the murderers of his mother in a Chantry while they had immunity as ambassadors. Apparently Fereldans are direct in such matters.

And vice-versa.  *shrugs*  I can accept the limitation of the game in this manner.  If people really don't like, just rp that Loghain is taken away and gets all executey right after the landsmeet.

The main virtue to my mind is to be able to wear armor, especially since the mage robes are so limited and tend to be so hideous.  You do have a trade off with not having magic stat boosts.  But there is little enough of that in vanilla game, too, so by mid-game it doesn't really matter.  You can pump everything into magic and kill pretty handily anyway.

If you do this though you become insanely overpowered, IDK about others but it makes the game no fun for me.

No you don't. you just don't sheath your weapons to cast, it's no different than using a staff full time. Nope, I don't avoid friendly fire by mod, Alistair has enough constitution to handle it, and Wynne, Morrigan, and Leliana stay ranged and  out of my line of fire. Wynne is of course full healer, Morrigan is on support duty when she's with me, so she heals herself, that way Wynne only has me and Alistair to deal with, Leliana is set to use health pots, and I have two heals in my own arsenal. If I have zev with me, he's on Wynne protection. I have one tactic slot set for him to do nothing but attack something that attacks Wynne,  I just don't get the "overpowered" my fights aren't any shorter by casting with drawn weapons, not a single mob has been a bit easier yellow name and up.  I still have to watch everything carefully or wipe the group, and tactics are still crucial. It's not like you're hitting with your weapon WHILE the spell is casting, you pause to cast, then go back to swinging.  The only time you're OP as an AW is by the game mechanics themselves, and the high magic resists on dragons and casters. Flemeth can breath fire in my face and I just thank her for the warmth, I was a bit chilly...lol

I tend to put my feelings into the game too much. I could probably kill the Dalish (because I effing hate that particular tribe) but I couldn't kill Connor. Luckily, they offered Isolde as a sacrifice so if I make a character not willing to go to the Mage Tower, they just kill Isolde.
