Because the game didn't make it possible to obey mistress....

Plus, she prefers Loghain over Alsitair, so I ultimately did do what she wants.

I have never been broken up with by Alistair, I don't know how you can accidentally broken up with by him. My first playthrough was as a mage who didn't harden him (that playthrough was unspoiled so I didn't know anything about hardening). She saw that he had no interest in being king, so she made Anora queen and went to Weisshaupt fortress with Alistair.
Of course, I used one of my saves to get broken up with on purpose, but I reloaded and became queen.

Does no one else in here go for the sad break ups? It is wonderful!

I've never done the break-up with Alistair either.  I just can't do it, too dang sad, especially after hearing you all talk about it. I accidently clicked on the we need to end this line once n the expression on his face when I said that just put me into instint , I'm glad it was a mistake n I reloaded lmao.  One of these time's I'll have to try it but it won't be for a long long while lol.

You guys really need to expand your gaming experience. This is why I had Lady D help me RP Gaia so I can execute Alistair while in a romance with him. I want to experience everything this game has to offer.

If only she were more useful......

Same goes for Alistair, though. I find it hard to have them in the party without totally respeccing them because others are just more useful gameplay-wise.

If she said she really wants Loghain dead, then he is dead.

It is adoreable and heartbreaking. Just one of the reasons I say this game was so well done. (for the most part anyway.) There is more post-landsmeet for the broken up lovers than the future queen.

If Nathaniel was romanceable in Awakening, Queen Mel Cousland would have dropped Alistair like a sac of potatoes in the first playthrough and gotten all over that.  I'd replay so Queen Mel would remain faithful....but dang, how could I resist that first playthrough?

Not but seriously, if you tell her "get into the tent woman", she sometimes plays the submissive partner. So I don't Morrigan wants to be a dominatrix all the time. Just...sometimes. I would presume.

*sigh*  It's really sad, to see the contortions you put yourself through for your hero worship.    She's the one who tells your PC and Alistair that Loghain "quit the field" and that the rest of the armies were massacred.

I woudln't with my queen...but I would with an Unromanced PC...Maybe I can make a Cousland, transport her right away to Awakenings...and see what the defaults of an imported PC are...Don't want to play Orlesian, just can't relate.
