While this is true, would you prefer your DA experience be done in the more logical manner, that is, through the whole game Alistair tells you what to do and makes all the choices, and your only options are to either follow his instructions or turn the game off?

Hey anyone got a picture they can post of Leliana with this hairdo but her normal in-game face.  I'm trying to figure out which looks better.  Maybe if I gave her a new look I won't be leaving her at camp as much as I do lmao.

Thankfully, I have a mix of F!PCs so I can do it both ways!!

When you put it that way, I think I might iniate again, because the last time I did, it glitched and I didn't get the "love" convo until he was 100 percent love.

Well the point is specifically that he has no confidence in his leadership.

No the point that you REFUSE to get, is that he GAINS confidence in his leadership THROUGHOUT THE GAME. By the time landsmeet hits (If you have hardened him) he IS willing to be king, and will in fact tell you he's ready, and that he can do it. 

He does say that at the landsmeet, yes.  Something which I believe we mentioned a few pages ago, no?  I don't believe I said anything contradicting that statement tbh.

And Kryyp is right. I know soldiers, I am married to one. And when before he got into a position of leadership, he didn't have confidence that he could do it. But he LEARNED those skills from those around him, his then leaders. And as of right now he's a danged good leader, leading a squad in Afghanistan, and has earned a Bronze Star for Valor for his leadership of said squad during an Ambush last summer. They had been out in 100+ degree heat, were starting to dehydrate, and on their way back to camp when it hit. He got every member of his squad to safety, not a single injury, and carried his platoon sgt out with all his equipment plus what he himself was wearing (80 pounds of equipment each, and mind you my husband is 5'7 and about 140 poundsand 36 years old).

Not bad for a guy that didn't think HE could lead in the past now is it? Not bad for a guy that took weeks to admit he was in love with me, and months more to propose.

Is that why you're taking the Alistair criticism so personally?  I mean, it's not as if I'm criticising your husband.  I hope you don't think that.  Really I don't see why people are getting so worked up *shrug*

What if...



He IS included in the next game, along with your pc...and can't join you because he is king. IE: Making him king = cameo, GW ending = party member.

I gave up on trying to find a replacement for Leliana, because either she looks beautiful but not like a woman nearing her 30s or her face is scrunched up. Why is it that when people are trying to replecate a face, they put all the features too close together so it looks scrunched.

It helps when you have the same hairstyle, lol. I just change her hair on occasion. Sometimes I just ignore the tavern :innocent:

HA! That'd be hilarious because a lot of people play HN to become Queen and then they don't get Ali. But I'd be pretty peeved because one of my canons is Queen

It is cute for sure, but I'm also rather addicted to hearing "Join you?  In your TENT?"  He can't believe his ears.    And I can't help but think it is flattering to him- even if he at the approval level where he refuses- that the Warden asked him.  Maybe that's part of what he means when he says no one ever made him feel that way.

You're probably safe. If character is made a potential companion that's huge chunk of work involved doing their dialogues etc. It then doesn't make much sense to prevent this character from becoming a companion because that means need to provide an alternative... and that means 2x as much work for the same result. If it makes sense. Which is something a practical company would rather avoid.

I would throw a party, cuz only 2 of my 5 characters have made him king. Free Ali FTW
