Same here, he blames himself even if you betray him.  He betrayed you first by lying and probably has had a lot of time to think in the dungeon and realized he betrayed you first by lying and getting you in trouble too.  His last thought is for Lily and he begs you to tell her that if you see her (I lied to him and told him she was fine) if you execute him yourself.

I think it is just easier to delete the Dalish overwrite, unless you want a bunch of freckled, tattooless Dalish around. I can't see any reason to keep those files.

The dalish part is face paintings, it replaces like the last four tatts with paintings

uh_pct_dc1_0t.dds Dwarven Commoner, replaces all but starting tat (casteless brand) with freckles
uh_pct_dn1_0t.dds Dwarven Noble, replaces all tats with freckles
uh_pct_h01_0t.dds Human & City Elf, replaces 1-4 tats with freckles
uh_pct_h02_0t.dds Human & City Elf, replaces 5-8 tats with face paintings
uh_tat_ed3_0t.dds Dalish Elf, replaces 9-12 tats with freckles
uh_tat_ed4_0t.dds Dalish Elf, replaces 13-16 tats with face paintings

I deleted all the face paintings because I didn't like 'em. I deleted all the Dalish files too. In fact I only kept the Human/City Elf/Mage one (uh_pct_h01_0t).

Well he didn't want to be a GW.  Duncan had to drag him away from his family.  He grew up with other young boys his age who saw him as "Teryn Cousland's son" and didn't have any really close friends so Alistair is the first man he's gotten close to outside of Fergus (who I imagined spent many an afternoon tormenting his younger brother as older brothers do).  They can relate as equals instead of nobleman and commoner (He doesn't know about Alistair's father yet).
He was very devoted to his father and took his death pretty hard so he can relate to Alistair's loss of the Duncan and the GW's and I played him as sympathetic when Al and him chatted about Duncan.  I chose the STFU option to the Guardian.

He hasn't had any serious romances in his life (I chose the 'no fewer than three' when Fergus asked about women).  He bedded Morrigan for the fling and when she pulled the love card on him they decided to end it mutually and is going slower with Leliana, none of that crazy love stuff. 

He will be marrying Anora at the end if I can stomach it.

if you play a guy and romance both (but keep them at interested instead of care) you get some funny banter with them in the party together.  Alistair also has a couple funny lines with Leliana about the PC and Morrigan (and about Leli and the PC)

What armor is that?

The black is Grey Warden Runic Armor retextured to black and the silver heavy armor alistair is wearing is Cousland Royal armor from Improved Atmosphere's Human Noble Origin.  (Your PC gets a set instead of leathers).

That is true. If you do romance Zevran on a dwarf, that means you get to spam pictures in the dwarf thread, too, and we'll teach you the dwarven fistbump and share our deep mushroom doobies.

No I have my own issues with him.  Even when i want to spare him by the time I finish in the Alienage I want to kill Caladrius, Loghain, Anora, Kill Howe AGAIN...It stems from my own experiences as to why I hate him so much.  His character pushes all my buttons in the worst way.

Here's one reason to romance Zevran with a dwarf.  Charsen's kisses mod. However, I recommend making sure you have my fix to the dwarf vanilla kiss so it looks like this -- otherwise, you're kissing his nose..  Also, hmmmm, I have some additional fixes to Zevran's romance that are not a part of ZDF (had to make four versions and that's just too much deleting).
