So you see your DE as having no choice about staying with the GW forever because Tamlen is a ****** and touched the cursed mirror? I hate that idea. You're the freaking Hero of Ferelden and saved everybody. You should have a choice with what you want to do with your life and if that's going back and living with your clan then so be it. If it's not and you truly wish to stay with the Wardens of your own free will because you love it and not because two people told you you have to then that's perfectly fine.



Yes, having your choices made for you is ALWAYS a bad thng in my book.

That one from a few hours ago so wasn't my fault!  I took one teeny little shot at Alistair and it got blown all out of proportion.  I'm innocent :innocent:

I think she means the choice made for you at the beginning. If your character ends up making the best of their situation and finds reasons why she'd want to stay a Warden, in the end it is her choice to do so. It may not have been her choice to go, but it was her choice to stay.

On the subject.. Dalish Elf.



Your elf (in this case mine was F) after the cave is tainted with the Darkspawn plague... Sure death or worse.. ghoul (eeww). Your clan will have to kill you eventually if you stay.



So you choose life and become a Grey Warden.. another death sentence only you'll live longer before turning into a ghoul.. so you take the deep roads before you turn and hope for a quick death while taking a few darkspawn with you.... (which Duncan surely knew and the Keeper probably also.. that's why no return to the clan?)



dunno just my thoughts on it.
