I wouldn't kiss him but I don't mind my characters doing it, since they love him and all and I figure I'm not exactly the normal type. I'm not against kissing and sex, as long as I am not involved

I think there is a lot of richness to her character and it's too bad the story was "short" for her..  I would have like to seen more..  she always struck me has having more feelings than she let on..  I could be wrong
but sometimes in her expressions..

See, she even smashes her left arm through the layers of metal of Alistair's armor so she can get closer (gotta love clipping)

Morning!

My husband beat Dragon Age yesterday and he was quite pleased with his ending. Because he messed up on the companions and romance part he made up his own RP explanation for me.

His Aedan Cousland had an unrequited crush on Morrigan, for the most part. They had only started kissing and the DR was the one time they had sex. It broke Aedan's heart to see Morrigan leave but he thought it was for the better. He made Anora solo queen and chose to travel with his best friend Leliana. Even though he didn't get Alistair's approval up in the game Aedan liked him and left him in charge of rebuilding the Wardens, thus making him Warden Commander:

My husband doesn't want to play Awakening because it would interfere with this ending (Alistair disappears, Leliana disappears, Aedan would be forced to be Warden Commander).

I was quite happy that he bothered to make up some kind of story he could tell me. Not bad, I think.
He enjoyed it but he's not going to replay. Instead he wants to give Age of Conan a try.

Oh, and we were at the cinema last night and watched Robin Hood. I loved the movie. I had very low expectations before but I thought it was rather enjoyable. It's probably not as epic as Kingdom of Heaven but the atmosphere was awesome and I couldn't help thinking: Wow, THIS is what Ferelden is supposed to be like. The game is not nearly dark and dirty enough and your modern POV doesn't help this in the slightest.

Athras calls his wife "wife".  I don't think they have a separate term and I never heard an elven word for spouse in the game

I think they are just trying to stay away from the human term (wife) and avoid Elfquestian terms like "Lovemate", "Lifemate" etc.  The term (esp in fanfic) isn't canon but its acceptable to me.
I think Gheyna says "We can't be bonded" to the PC when referring to Cammen so its definitely brought up in the game just not expressed in that particular way.

I had an inkling it was not canon, I think it has the potential to become fanon (like Alistair being Fiona's son, not confirmed but widely believed).
