I like Zev because he´s funny. I just love the way he talks about his past conquests and everything.

Also, he´s an elf. Not being an elf is one of Alistair´s greatest flaws.

I think people who love Zevran love him because the relationship ends in such an unexpected place and he's deeper than you'd expect him to be.

I get shirty about comparing Alistair and Zev because one is so much more a puppet of the game's plot than the other, so a straight-on A v. Z discussion is extraordinarily hard to do and have it be fair to both characters.

I am a horrible communicator today.

Yeah, I don't do Zev-Ali comparisons.  I like to let them stand on their own.  But I can't begrudge people who enjoy poking fun at Alistair or dissing him since I indulge the same impulse with Leliana and Wynne on occasion.  I just have to look away.

Yeah, I don't mind the dissing of Alistair unless someone comes to this thread to do it. I'd never go to the Zevran thread and start talking smack because everyone's taste is different. Some people don't like Alistair and some people do. I just hate when they intentionally come into the thread to complain about it.

This is another by Lynne Cerro that reminds me of my character.  The woman holding her is her absent mother.  The bleakness and slight creepiness is reminiscent of the story I'm about to write, if I can ever get my marbles together to sit down and write it.

Oh, I love that sort of style! Man, I've been wanting to sit down and start writing something, but I tend to get caught up in the planning and by the time I actually get around to writing, I've already got another idea.

I ran over to look at her work, and this was one that stood out for the atmosphere alone. It's like an unsettling dream.

When I saw that you had started watching, I almost told you to straight up skip "Stranger in a Strange Land." It's like the perfect storm of horrible episodes. When we were doing our marathon catch-up (we didn't start watching live until Season 4) we took a two month break during Season 3 because of that one.

When I saw that you had started watching, I almost told you to straight up skip "Stranger in a Strange Land." It's like the perfect storm of horrible episodes. When we were doing our marathon catch-up (we didn't start watching live until Season 4) we took a two month break during Season 3 because of that one.

I lost interest in it last season and have all the previous ones on DVD, I will catch up when they release this season on DVD and be done with it.  Frankly after one of my favorites was killed It lost all its charm for me.

I was pleased because all of my favorites managed to make it through the end, in some form or another. I even managed to understand what was happening most of the time./is inordinately pleased with herself.

I'm on episode 6 of the third season. I am bored out of my skull and wish Kate and Sawyer would just jump into a hole and die somewhere.



It helps that I am scribbling down some notes about my characters at the same time, so I don't get to bored and fall asleep.

I concur with this.  *shrugs*  Though I think Aedan Cousland is gonna end up with Zev.  Still not sure.
