The smart voice set is only available to dwarves and it has references to ancestors, paragons, and stuff. I didn't realize it had dwarf specific stuff until after several games with either violent or cocky. =p
And your male dwarf looks like a badass mother. My sort of guy.
Human females don't have the cocky voice set, elf females do.
I usually use experienced for my human females, but I hate "Desperation is an ugly perfume!"

There was one hf voice that isn't in the list to pick at the beginning, but it still is there. It might be the cocky voice. (I'm at work, so I can't check my computer!) You can add it in your save_game file and use it.

How is it more dangerous than entropy, spirit schools, primal schools? Again, these are not hundreds of mages flouncing about the tower carrying weapons full time.
It doesn't seem plausable for the templars to encourage that, even on a small scale.
And again again AGAIN we aren't talking about mages running willy nilly about the tower wavig a danged weapon! Ya know what, ya'll are right, I'm wrong, I fail at RP< I suck, whatever.
Jess, since it's your RP, you can't suck at it! The mages and templars can feel/do whatever you feel is plausible in your own RP.
And your AW is your SH, right? So she's a good girl. She could've had a templar who befriended her, and when she asked for lessons in swordplay he liked her enough and saw her talent, and wanted to teach her. There don't have to be general fighting lessons for mages, it could be just a select few or even just your girl.
There's a lot of novels where a girl gets training as a warrior in a time when women aren't even supposed to pick up a weapon, because some warrior sees their aptitude and likes them (likes them as a daughter, friend, lover, etc).
So I don't think your girl learning how to fight at the circle is any great stretch of imagination. There's always a way to RP it.
Thanks, I'm just a *tad* frustrated today, feeling like I have to defend and justify every thing I do that isn't with the lore of the game. I unlocked that spec on my first mage ages and ages ago. And yes, Caislyn is a good girl, if you don't count that umm..flirtation and stolen smooches with Cullen...ahem. Clearly at least HE would have liked her enough. And I'm not sure how well her good girl status will hold up being chancellor...lol (no I don't think he'll stay unmarried becuse of her either, I'm just not worrying about whats not written:P)I don't generally go around bending the lore, but i'd done one mage as ranged fireball hurling destruction and really didn't enjoy it. So starting with that, likely would have ended in deletion.
Hmm thinking about it maybe that original mage should re-do the landsmeet and be chancellor and Caislyn and Alistair should do the GW ending...lol

Humans and elves get access to mystic voice while dwarves get the smart voice. Everything else (cocky, violent, etc) are available to all races.cmessaz wrote...

Thanks. I can't take the credit for him though -- he's from this preset here (I just added tattoo):

The female dwarf from that package is easy on the eyes, too, once you see the face behind the hairstyle she has.

I don't worry about strictly following the lore in absolutely everything about the game. Sometimes it's okay to break the rules in your head.

There's some voices I actually quite like. Given, there are bad lines here and there. But I couldn't imagine my mage without her sultry voice or my dwarf without her cocky voice. I even like my noble, with her wise voice. I do use the mod that gets rid of the "ladder" line, though. It was just said overly much.

Wait, I could have sworn that I've heard a PC voice set that sounded suspiciously like Bann Teagan. Of course, Bann Teagan voice isn't necessarily enough to make a character- he does Garavel in Awakening and he's resolutely unsexy.
