Ugh, how did the spider queen go? That's like the hardest fight for a melee heavy team imosabreene wrote...

Haha same! That's why I can't seem to get myself to give up the Cauthrien fight... it's too fun!sabreene wrote...
I love a good tactical challenge! I keep meaning to do a solo run, but I'm too addicted to the characters to leave them behind. And it doesn't mesh with my story sense to bring them, and then sit them on the sidelinesWell, too often anyway. I have RP'd that I was exploring ahead in the tunnels and had to take on the darkspawn by myself once or twice.
I love trying different builds and gear sets + team combos almost as much as the storyline itself. My last game (NM/no pots) I ran a melee train PC (sin/bard) + Oghren (zerker/champ) + Alistair (temp/champ) + Wynne (spirit/AW) and we absolutely destroyed everything! Alistair is surprisingly beefy at max approval with his con bonus and Cailan's set.
He is! I love mixing up the team combos. This time through I'm running with all warriors & rogues, and I can only use pots that I pick up I can't make any of them. It's getting interesting now that I'm in the deep roads and about to have the Branka/Cairidin fight!
That's been the hardest part so far. My PC was last man standing. I used up all the bombs I had - I have two characters spec'd for poison, so we could alternate with the cooldowns. It was killer. But fun though!
