That depends whether these are intended flaws or shortcomings of the author who plain cannot do any better. I mean, if you have for example idiot author writing about Einstein, chances are their Einstein will wind up pretty dumb even if the author does their best trying to make him look smart.

Should be ok with it actually   it fires through modified event script, one of obscure ones ("clipt_archdemon") so it doesn't matter which alistair dialogue it's running.

It did not fire correctly on a save where I did the DR.  I got a brief flash of something and it cut the loading screen bafore Duncan's lines.  I can test on a sacrifice save, but I assume it should play for both endings, correct?

TV Tropes is a funny site and can be addictive, but I have the same feeling I get from reading fark.com.  It has the same all-encompassing cynicism about art as fark.com does about everything else, and it ends up annoying me. Really, no one likes a wise-ass, even when they're right.

Of course she's a Mary Sue (or more specifically Canon Sue since that's defined as someone making a canon character into a Mary Sue in a fic or just there being a Mary Sue in the actual source material).

Bella's major flaw in th books is 'clumsiness.' Oh yes, that's such a debilitating problem. Plus that's all cleared up when she's made a perfect vampire with Carlisle's self-control anyway. She is kind of a moron but she's not supposed to be and her actions are not seen by anyone as her just being a ******. They think she's selfless, everyone wants her, she's never held accountable for anything she does...yeah, she's a Mary Sue.

Yup, so very much. I think this pretty much sums it up. (Don't want to derail the thread with the crap that twilight is) But the DA:O/Twilight parody-FF is pretty lulworthy

Nope it should only trigger when either Alistair or the player actually dies, so if ritual prevents it then that's working as intended.

The effect wears opff as the pictures progress, but here is Eamon frozen and paralysed in mid-air while the archdemon was chomping on him.

Ok it's a mod doing it...and one of the ones highlighted in blue. I emptied my override and added alphabetical blocks of files back. The problem with Sentinel looking like WC plate returned when I got to this block...progress.

Hmm nope that sounds bugged   i had something like that happen once in Awakening finale when my character was stuck in pose from overwhelm, maybe there's something similar there... i'll try to override it with the pose it should have instead. Thank you for checking

Seeing the scene, I feel it works best on a character either in love with Alistair, or who is best friends with him.

I might just be me interpreting it wrong, as the character could be propped up like that, but it makes more sense if they're on the ground for me.

Edit:  tmp, cmess just sugegsted to em that Alistair is supposed to be holding her.  If that is the case, omg, please fix it!
