If Twilight is as terrible as everyone says it is, why is it so popular?  I don't get it.  But then again, I don't get a lot of things that others consider entertainment.

Imo it´s quite good. However, it f*cks up vampires. Vampires are supposed to be BADASS. I want my vampires to be invulnerable, immotal killer machines who drink virgin blood for breakfast and do all kind of awesome stuff.

In Twilight, they´re more like suicidal vegans:sick::sick:

But except for that it is quite a good love story.

Fffffffuuuuu-- :crying::crying::crying: That is pretty much exactly how I pictured my character too :crying::crying:

And her lips moving at the end?  Oh god.  I can just imagine her saying 'Please don't leave me, I love you...'

Going off to knock him out and see how it plays for me.

Wait, you can DO that??

Presumably for the same reason reality TV is. I mean, I think shows like Jersey Shore say a lot about what is wrong with the world. I take it you've never read it? You're lucky.

No, but I have a pretty sensitive sniffer for vapid stupidity.  And I won't just finish a book or movie to finish it, if I feel like it's wasting my time.

Don't anyone kil me, but I tossed Harry Potter after about a half hour with the first book.

I liked Harry Potter... up until I turned 14 and realized how much I thought it sucked

The books get successively better after the first one...and then you get book seven which sucked. Still, the characters and world she created lend themselves quite easily to some amazing fanfiction but you two aren't really into that, right? Similarly, I have found some amazing Twilight fanfiction, partcularly the works of HM Grayson. Of course, a lot of time there is a great deal of cynacism where the authors try to realistically depict the consequences of the events in the books and I know you said that annoyed you, Addai.

Knock him out?!

It's from the 'sacrifice for all' mod but it got included into the romance one, pretty much by accident. It's dialogue option on the fort roof. Has a low check on cunning and allows to trick Alistair into letting you take the killing blow even if in love with him.

What's so good and romantic about all the stalking, literal inability to live without each other, possessiveness, jealousy, vapidness, his attempting to isolate her from her friends and family (and kidnapping her), and his burning desire to kill her? I just don't get it...Posted Image

I read the first four, iirc the fourth one came out the summer I graduated 8th grade. By the time the 5th one came out (I tried to read it, honest) I just didn't care and found it such a boring read I tossed it aside less than halfway through. I'm not really the type to plow through something I no longer have any interest in at all.

Edit: Oh, the 4th came out when I finished 6th grade. The 5th came out when I finished 9th grade. So sometime between the time I was 12 and 15 I came to think Harry Potter sucked. Probably when I was 14 and discovered Lord of the Rings.

Well wanting to kill each other is quite romantic, isn´t it? Kind of a Gothic Romance or so...:devil:

Well I don´t know. The plot is ... not exactly interesting.... but I found it pleasant to read, somehow. It´s not a great work of literature, but rather something you can read without having to think.

With good books I tend to get emotionally involved and sometimes have to stay an entire night awake and all or feel like killing someone (if I read about rape, for example).

With Twilight you can just have a bit of fun and then move on. It´s a nice change sometimes.

So you have to stop thinking in order to enjoy it? That would explain a lot. Tragically, I can't do that. It doesn't matter if it sucks, I'd still end up thinking about it. Actually, I probably do that more if it sucks because there's so much to pick apart...

Yup, in Alistair's dialogue file. If character's cunning is high enough it should show up as an extra where you normally get the lines for "Wait this is crazy!" etc.

Sweet. Of course I'd have to create a character that intends to sacrifice herself...lol

Oh my god.  Just, oh my god...

Alistair holds you one last time...

I think this is probably the best combination.  Alistair in love with your PC, followed by Alistair as your PC's best friend.

I'll be over here, crying.  Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

I still had the 'wait, this is crazy line'.  It must replace another.  And oh, I felt so bad tricking him and then punching him.  Posted Image

That´s not what I meant.
What I mean is, there is a lot of sh!t going on in this world, and there´s a lot of sh!t going on in fantasy worlds, and sometimes I tire of wishing for a purifying genocide by the next Blight.

And then I enjoy a story like Twilight which is a world without any problems except "Will I ever see Eddy again?:crying::crying::crying::crying:" and "Uhhh, I love Jacob and I love Eddy but I don´t love Jacob in the same way!!:crying::crying::crying::crying:"

It doesn't replace any of existing lines, just adds one extra to selection. And aye, it's actually quite cruel thing to do to him when you think of it Posted Image

Thank you very much for taking your time to check it out Posted Image

Do it!  Now!

I would upload the video where you knock him out, but I was lagging during it, so it's not great.  Will probably try again later.
