What would this have changed?
There would of been a clarified reason to save Loghain. Alistair doesn't know that someone needs to die at that point.

Well, if you spared Loghain then Alistair might have understood your reasoning better (and you might have had a better non-metagaming reason if you plan to refuse the DR) even if he still thinks you shouldn't have done it.Addai67 wrote...

Alistair would never go for this.cmessaz wrote...
Ooooooh I see. So now I'm even angrier. After the Loghain battle he could have had the common decency to pull me to the side and say "hey, this is what happens when archi dies. Lets feed Loghain to him, eh?"

If Alistair knew, he probably wouldn't throw the tizzy about recruiting Loghain. Of course, then no one would do the Ritual and everyone would sacrifice Loghain. Well, except the Alistair haters, I suppose.

Well, to avoid an argument I think we will just have to agree to disagree here.Addai67 wrote...

If he knew that he and the women he loved were going to die he'd probably be a tad bit more open minded. He hates Morrigan after all and will still plant his seed to save you both.

But for now...
That's what you get when you say no to Morrigan.
They both deserve it.
You´re so cold:crying:
Appreciate the sacrifice they made for Ferelden!
By the way, why does Alistair break up with you when you marry him with Anora and recruit Loghain?

Think about it. Alistair is going to let Loghain become a Grey Warden and die a heroic death? Not a freaking chance.Serissia wrote...

You can Persuade him that "sleeping with Morrigan is not so high a price." You are never going to Persuade him that turning Loghain into a hero is not so high a price.
Now, you might all be able to decide to conscript someone reasonable like Teagan at that point, or conscript half of the army, which might have been a logical thing to do. But that would mess up the game narrative.

(Something kind of like this is what I imagine you wake up to in Ft. Drakon when you guys get arrested, with much less dead Warden/CRYZ FOREVERZ.)

I'm not sure if I should move my saves back, or just start all over at this point. They're all dependant on improved atmosphere and other various mods. Ugh. Starting over makes me want to just walk awayyyyy

I think he would, at least if he´s in love with your PC.
Or if he would rather see his love die than to accept Loghain for a week or so, then he´d be an ass. We don´t think Alistair is an ass, right?

We do actually. It's a child with the soul of an old god. The taint is cleansed. She tells you that, and I believe DG confirmed it.
