You should know by now that cats have no effect on me.    Neither the "aww" effect and certainly not as Maricstair killer.

In Dalish nerd news, I uploaded a little video talking to Zathrian about Danyla, Swiftrunner and the mad hermit.  A couple interesting bits.  Mostly more of Zathrian's lies.  It's too bad you don't get to call him out on his BS right from the start.  But I guess that's the point of the later plot.

for someone who supposedly knows she's harming people through her actions "i left them unharmed" is a curious choice of a phrase.

If you seriously think that Leliana would be like "Hey old friend, I just manipulated you because I thought we could have fun together, that's all", then there is nothing more to say. I see Leliana way differently than you.

Yes; i think you're really overlooking her demonstrated lack of empathy (which i believe is result of her upbringing) and presume her to possess traits a normal person could be expected to have, which i think in her case is a mistake. 

But she isn't stupid, nor is she a child like you make her out to be.

I'm not making her out to be a child. Nor stupid. I simply consider her brain to be wired and/or developed different than what we usually expect from people.

Nor do I see how it's irresponsable for someone advising the other to perfect a skill and enjoy it. If that person chooses to use that skill in a bad way, it's that person's fault.

Except as PC you aren't telling her just to 'perfect useful skill".

that's precisely the point where she gets hardened. I see nothing about advice to practice useful skills here, just a head nod to the fact part of her has enjoyed hunting and killing people. Followed with repeated statements from the PC this is what she should be like.

And in that case, she is right. She left them physically unharmed, took what she wanted and left. The victims will get over it and they would still prefer this, than her killing them and taking what she wants. Them being "none the wiser" implies they don't know what happened to them in the first place, for them to be harmed.

And that's using it on people she doesn't know, nor care about. To assume that she will use this on a very close friend, just because she thinks is fun, is not a serious outlook on her character.

Making her realise who she is, instead of running away from it, is the best advice one could give to a person imo.

And yea why shouldn't she enjoy it? She specifically mentions what the party and the PC did, and the men they killed. All of whom deserved it. If we were out there killing for the lulz, you might have an argument. But she specifies that she likes doing what we are doing right now. Aka  saving Ferelden, while killing people that need to be killed and enjoy the adventure while it lasts.   

And this discussion is very pointless and way off topic even for me.
