The explanation said they wanted a rougher looking Alistair, but as the comment pointed out, the modder didn't even use Alistair's facial structure.  So they got a rougher looking somebody.

Reminds me of the crazed soldier you meet when first entering the Keep in Awakening.  And that guy is not romanceable in any way, shape or form.

Thanks! Almost done with the alienage part so the Landsmeet comes near. I REALLY want to bring Alistair with me in the final battle but I want to take the US ending too, so this is perfect .

edit: Addai, yes   too bad i didn't figure out how to edit the save until i was pretty much done with the game, so she doesn't have the proper ears on most of the screens...

Deep roads?  

The boots are at the merchants shop in dust town, the gloves come from a sidequest in the Deep Roads  and the broodmother drops the chest. If you take dog to the deep roads, and ask ifhe sees anything interesting, hell bring back a helm called duty that will fulfill the set bonus.

Ew, that breastplate gets cut out of the broodmother?  I hope Alistair cleaned it really, really well before he put it on.  Or he's not getting sexytime outside the Deep Roads, either.

Well, i prefer to pretend it was just lying around there. The broodmother is too big to wear it and it'd give some terrible indigestion if she had it eaten or something...

Well, I do like the Orzammar quest line least of all the treaties.  People complain about Urn of Sacred Ashes because it forces you to go along with a crackpot religious idea, but crawling through the Deep Roads to find a paragon is even more cracked.  As Kardol likes to point out.

I like Kardol BTW- his VA is superb.  My mage always tries to keep him healed up when he's fighting Archie.

I wouldn't mind it if they set it up as a scouting mission or something.  I guess you can see it as both.  You do see Archie up close and personal in the Dead Trenches, though that cutscene bothers me since Archie really should be sensing it if there are two Grey Wardens gaping at him from that close up.  Maybe he doesn't care and is showing off.

Im gonna end up dying there...why would I want to go there ahead of schedule.  I should have just been able to declare the damn steward king. He was the only one who didnt' act like a douche the entire process.

Better yet, make Sandal king, he seems quite capable of darkspawn slayage.
