What?  His VO is French...  And though he was born in Fereldan he apparently lived in Orlais for the majority of his life prior to the game.

Really? I didn't feel a french vibe to it. I just felt it was weird...in a good way, I like his accent.

I never felt it was a French accent. That's weird.

Oh well, I guess a French accent can sound badass, however rare that is.

Just pause, switch to him and hit the button, then go back to my character and unpause.

Actually, no.  At the end, if he falls in love, he can't even have sex with the warden unless they make a commitment to him.  Sex and love become one and the same for him.

Which is really, really depressing if your PC dies. 

For me it seems a bit ... creepy. Our Wardens are so awesome that their love interests lose all happiness in life. And Alistair is the most harmless one, just leaving the Wardens and disappearing from public view. I certainly hope he will find a new purpose and someone else to love.

well its not romantic love but if you want a positive After teh US story I will shamelessly plug my fic, Alistair does indeed find someone to love again.  Just not a romance.

What does she say to a non-dwarf? And why was it creepy? I know she accuses the DN of being a messenger and the DCF of being a noble-hunter. I'm actually not sure what she says to the DCM. I know Gilsa just finished a playthrough but I think she said she sided with Harrowmont.

My commoner did indeed side with Harrowmont and you just reminded me to describe that playthrough in the dwarf thread!
