I could pimp my own stuff, but...

I dunno.  I have odd tastes sometimes, so I'm not sure what you'd like.  I also don't keep very good track of what I read.

Edit:  And I'm quiet b/c I'm playign some DA while waiting on work to be ready.

You mean LadyDamodred?

The correct way to summon her is as follows:

"Oh how I wish I was as talented and brilliant as some writers around here, I would have been able to write my story in a better way"

And she will come. Trust me, speaking from experience Posted Image

EDIT Eh she came before I even finished my summonign ritual...

Liar.  I am not that good.  Passable.  ^_^  And hardly an expert.  :P  You're just blinded by the Morrigan fic.

Edit:  yeah, I'd go with Surely's list.

I cannot pass judgement for I have not read it.  But you're not alone in feeling like that about stories.  There are ones that I've looked at, and people are all gaga over them, and I just meh.  Different strokes for different folks.

I saw it recommended in a few places and tried to read it, but couldn't get past the first chapter. So no, you're not alone.

I really have no idea what you're looking for so I'm just going to throw some stories out there. I hope this helps. Posted Image
Dead Duster Walking If all the life you knew was Dust Town and crime, if all you were told was "keep your head down until I say aye..." If you did terrible things so you and your family could survive, what would you do if you were offered a way out? Find out what Missa did.
Ever After Bann Teagan makes good on his affections towards a highly flabbergasted mage. The trouble with proposing to the center of a love triangle you're not really part of is the reaction of the other two sides. Those being? Hilarity and panic, of course!
From dirt To rise from humble beginnings isn't a fairytale. It's vicious, bloody, and any promised glory is often lost in the wake of shattered lives... Violence. F.Tabris/Alistair.
Give Me A Sign Sometimes you cannot tell the truth between the lies, the right between the wrong. And all that you need is someone who will give you a sign that right doesn't mean ideal.
Happy Endings The Blight is over, the Grey Wardens have been restored to favour and the cunning, sometimes unscrupulous Elendra Cousland rules at the side of King Alistair Theirin. But even in happy endings, there are winners, losers and dire prices to be paid.
I Am Not A Tragic Figure Aunn Aeducan, practical if sheltered exile, knows only two things for certain: if she returns to Orzammar she'll probably end up actually committing fratricide at some point and it's about time to show the world what a dwarven princess can really do...
In All These Wasteful Hours In their game of kings and rebels he is now her brother. And as soon as Landsmeet is over, they will have to find a way to live with that.
Loyalty's Shadow: Part I She was a woman cursed with an epochal destiny. He was just a guy struggling in classes. Folow their journey as they intertwine themselves in a destiny that will change the fate of Ferelden. Jowan/Amell friendship. Pre-Harrowing Circle, ages 14-17.
Samsara Not all circles can be easily broken. "Hey, I remember you from the Tower!" "Hey, I wish I didn't!" Anders/Surana friendship
Six Degrees In the year 9:30, six remarkably different individuals find themselves drafted into a plot to unite Ferelden to stop a looming Blight. *An AU version of the game following all six origins in a new light.
The Enemy Inside Two nobles cast out from nobility seek to exist in a post-Blight world. Nathaniel Howe, F!Cousland.
The Keening Blade She hesitated-"Mostly, I couldn't kill you, knowing that I cheated. At the Landsmeet. Our duel." There was a heavy silence. Loghain said slowly, "You do realize that I am holding a naked sword at this very moment?" M for naughty language.
Truth be told Elissa Cousland accepted defeat when Alistair left her after the Landsmeet. Seeking a prisoner in Denerim as a new recruit, she looks to Alistair for assistance. Instead, she finds herself framed, covered in blood, hovering over the body of the new Queen.
Two roads diverged After months spent in hiding Elissa Cousland finds a new Ferelden - with a Grey Warden usurping Queen Anora's throne. AU
Under a New Sky An exiled dwarf has only one option; to learn to live under a new sky, in a new world. This is not easy, however, if she must also stop the Blight, not to mention find out what, or who, her heart truly desires. Aeducan/Gorim, eventually .
Understanding Alistair/Fem!Mahariel centric drabbles. Two people raised by different cultures are bound to have trouble coming to an understanding. Sometimes the less they try, the easier it becomes, and needing each other becomes more important than being right.
Victory at Ostagar When Bryce Cousland's little spitfire scaled the Tower of Ishal and lit the beacon at the critical moment, King Cailan won a mighty victory against the darkspawn. For the moment. Cousland/Alistair/Loghain/Cailan/Morrigan and eventual other origins

I dislike several parts of it (and the sequel is currently driving me crazy) but I do like a lot of the realism they add to different parts of it. I don't really like the way it ended, though. I mean, everything falls apart? Everything

*peeks in*

Hola, I'm a long time lurker (it's what I do best!)

I have a question, if someone will indulge me:

Does Leliana really give the f!PC some sort of line about stealing Alistair for herself if the PC doesn't treat him right, or did I just read that in a fic somewhere? I've got the stupids when it comes to the toolset, so I really don't know where to look for it. If it's real, does anyone have the quote available? (and possibly how to get it) But again, I might just be crazy.

Oh yeah, I've got an Alistair pic too!
