True. It really depends on which mods you use. With CT what I´m using damage mage is the most useless thing you can imagine. I mean, the Sleep / horror combo of Morrigan does about 250 damage - my main char AW / Shapechanger hits for 150+ with every hit, and my best was 220. Without mana cost and without chance to resist.

I usually play rogues so I usually don't have any others in my party.



I actually don't hate Leliana, though. I'm gonna romance her with my next character, a female dwarf commoner. I had to make my own morph for her though >.>

Combat tweaks tends to conflict with a lot of mods. So I dont' use it. But I am also very rarely a damaging mage, I prefer healer/supporter with Morrigan at controller.

My AW still doesn't do tons of damage, she might if I'd wear that ivory tower set but Ugh...so...bright and poofy.

Actually the Ivory tower set is not even the best for damage. It IS the best overall, imo, because of no fatigue and tons of extra willpower, but it gives very little magic so if you want to go all-out DPS it´s not even the best.

And if you use Combat Tweaks, too, get Spell Might. The extra 30 spellpower I get from it result in about 25 more damage for free when using a 2handed sword, even more with hammers.

Unfortunately, the dwarfs in the actual game don´t even come close.

Seriously, BioWare should have employed Aimo to make the dwarfen designs, they are so damn ugly in the game...

Huh, I've never seen a post that has been so utterly wrong before. But there it is.

Dwarves are freaking awesome, the only thing that is wrong about them is the arms. Dwarven women have prettier faces too. Like, some of the elves and humans I've seen are hideous and it is so easy to mess a human/elven face up, but you have to work at making an ugly dwarven face.

Differing tastes. I haven´t seen a single dwarfen woman I found beautiful, even if I only look at the face. There are some who are not ugly, but not a single I liked.

Of course, many humans and elves are ugly, too. DAO is quite realistic in that aspect.

Heh... that's a to each his own statement if I've ever heard one.  I spent at least a good hour working on a dwarf for Cme in the Toolset.

I don't think I ever used combat tweaks actually. I do use spell might. and spell wisp. Generally go with duel weapons (ivory tower sword and dagger set, or replace dagger with spellweaver. The only thing that might get me through another game or two is playing AW, simply because it's fun, and I want to be good at it. To be good at omething you do it a few times. Except rogue, I got that down the first time. But finding armor I both LIKE and is useful has been a bit of a challenge.
