Heh... that's a to each his own statement if I've ever heard one.  I spent at least a good hour working on a dwarf for Cme in the Toolset.

"Dwarves are ugly because of their arms" arguments make Kryyptehk grrrrrr....And it is mostly (mostly, I say, not all the time) said by men who only make human or elven chicks after downloading the amazon bodies mod and keep them half naked the entire time. To the .2 percent that truly can't play dwarves because of their arms and not because they happen to not be stick-thin waifs...you have my sincerest apologizes.

I agree. But I feel it is practically impossible to make a good-looking beardless male dwarf on the XBox with the preset it gives you. The chin is just so...weird-looking. People on the PC, I understand, have an easier time of it.  

I'm better at creating female dwarves than male ones anyway:

Then I have bad news: You will never have as much damage, unless you use some other mods I don´t know yet.

The reason is that in Vanilla, magic replaces strength during Combat Magic, in CT spellpower determines damage. That means Spell wisp and spell might don´t improve meelee damage in vanilla because they add spellpower, not magic.

You should not use 2 weapons if you want maximised meelee damage, either. The attribute bonusses for dualwielding are severely reduced.

What´s wrong with dwarfen arms?

And about the other thing, well.... I preferred elves in vanilla because humans have too big breasts, so you shouldn´t be surprised I don´t really like dwarfen bodies.

Well, I think the DNF origin is beautifully written.  I think the scene between Gorim and the DNF is absolutely heartbreaking.  I actually shed a tear; yes, one single tear.  

I think the DC origin is lack luster.  I started and stopped a few times until forcing myself to finish the origin.  I can't say my opinion of it improved. 

As for dwarves as a whole.  I'm not a fan.  They're short and stumpy.  I suppose I'm fairly tall for a woman standing at 5'9".  Perhaps I'm bias as I'm attracted to other tall people or either sex.

Dwarves NEED beards! And Ale! And AXES!!! Big, spiky axes and hammers to crush their enemies!





That´s how a dwarf should look.



Though, if we´re serious, this beard is short for a man. More appropriate for a woman.

The female dwarves do not need beards. I really hate those lores that have bearded dwarven women. They look nicer without them.
