She can't be smirking- hence why I took the shots in the same place.  But that is why I'm disappointed.  I actually think new Eren is prettier, but old Eren had a certain quirk about her face that I liked.  She looked like the sh*t-stirrer that she is.

The eyes also seem different, though I know they are the same eye shape and color.  I liked old Eren's eyes because they had a bit of the crinkliness that I associate with Irish eyes.

Clearly I need to learn the toolset so I can just go into my old game and change the hair.

Well, DR with hardened Alistair makes a lot of sense. The choice is: either Alistair or PC dies (and the one who survived is heartbroken), or Alistair having sex with Morrigan and everybody survives.

There is more than one .erf file in the project directory. If i remember right the one you'll want to open is in the Addins/name of the addin/core/data/ folder.

And aye it can be opened by Toolset because it's DA archive, but Photoshop .erf files are something different i think, a graphic format just happening to have the same extension.

Figures, all I had to do was switch a file name.

It doesnt make any less sense unhardened though, not really. He'll still do it, you just may have to pull the "if you love me..." card.

I respecced and upped my dexterity. Though i keep seeing "don't dual wield" but a shield looks ridiculous with the pious armor, and empty handed, while it's amusing to do the "push dead darkspawn off the blade with a fist" still looks odd.

Which would be a borderline twilight way to view it and all but a healthy relationship. Well in Gaia's case however it is.....cough fitting cough

And...Anora  isn't the only way to have him die. But I dislike the WC ending so it won't be done.

Sometimes when you create a face in the toolset and export it as a .mop (to use as a preset), it doesn't look exactly like what you made in the toolset. I don't know why. If you just export it into a .mor file to overwrite a face in the game, it's much truer to what you see in the toolset.

If you make a face from the character creator, you're not going to be able to open it up in the toolset and tweak settings. Someone explained trying to rebuild from a .mor file is like trying to figure out the ingredients that went into a cake. However you CAN change the settings such as colors and hairstyles.

My suggestion for you would be to download DragonAge Face Replacer -- use that program to extract the .mor from a saved game. Then open up that .mor in the toolset and in the hairstyle line, replace the name with the new hairstyle you want to switch it to. And then save it as a different name and use the Face Replacer to overwrite the saved game with the new .mor. Your character should look exactly the same, only different hairstyle, so there should be no doubt in your mind about messing up with sliders or anything.

The blue highlighted line is where you change the name of the hairstyle.


I really like using the DA Face Replacer. It allows me to extract the .mor files of characters I created in the character creator and save them in case I want to use them again in DA2 or something. Also I can use the .mor files to overwrite a saved game for screenshots. For example, my current avatar has only finished one treaty, but I wanted to take screenshots of her for tmp's sacrifice mod so I just opened up my first dwarf, made a new save, and then overwrote the face, and proceeded with the sacrifice so I could take screenshots.  It's a lot more fun this way. =p FaceReplacer also lets you open save games that are too big for toolset (you'd get an out of memory message) and overwrite the face.

I've looked at that before, but it sounds very complicated and my eyes were glazing over.  I guess I either have to live with the differences or suck it up and try this.

DA Face replacer ends up being quarantained by my virusscanner for including a troyan....
May be a false positive tho, I dunno...

I didn't have any warnings and none of the comments for the mod have complained about a trojan, but I can't make guarantees one way or another.

Addai67 -- if you want, you can email me one of your character's saved games and I can extract the .mor file and send it back to you for you to play with in the toolset. It would take me 30 seconds so not a hassle for me at all. Up to ya.
