@Axe- I don't feel comfortable sharing it publicly since I edited some texture files for personal use (she now has the mole like some other morphs too since I think it is cute) but if you want I could email her to you or something.

I've still never tried Key Lime Pie. I feel deprived.
I will admit I did not like it when I tried it many years ago. Perhaps I should try it again, but I'm a sucker for chocolate.
Speaking of which, I've got to go find some good candy molds and melting chocolate so I can make more cake balls. Those things are effing delicious.

Not really, I can just put the textures and hair in a folder along with the morph so you don't have to download anything extra.

I won't tell you how amazingly good it is because, when you do finally get to try it, your expectations might be so high that you would only be disappointed. And I'm not about to ruin someone's ability to love pie. But it's pretty good, you should try it.
And this is sort of on topic, if the topic is the thread itself. I actually thought of skadi and syl when I was at the grocery store buying said pie.

I've never tried Key Lime Pie either, but I don't really like pie. I do like the smell of apple pie, but I don't like eating it.

I didn't really like Key Lime pie until recently. Kind of how I liked white wines and then all of the sudden switched to reds. Now, picking up key lime flavored stuff is a real treat. And I saw key lime marmalade yesterday at the store. Yeah...I might have to try that.
And it's toally on topic. I'm sure Alistair would love key lime pie!

Well, reflecting on it a bit, I also think that it's because I identify with Alistair. Many of my PCs are like him, and in some ways I am like him in outlook and personality (idealistic, etc.) Which is probably why debates get heated. There is some personal stake, however oblique.Kryyptehk wrote...

I just don't understand why Alistair's desertion is punishable by death yet Loghain's crimes are totally fine and he should be given a chance to redeem himself. Whatever. I don't really want to talk about this crap again and it is precisely why I have not even bothered to look in the other thread. I am so freaking sick of this already.
I'll tell you what that whole argument boils down to. Who you like more, Alistair or Loghain. If you like Loghain, you are gonna come up with every excuse in the book as to why he's right and Alistair is wrong. At the same time, people who like Alistair are going to say that there is no way that Loghain should survive. Hence why I do not get into that argument, because there is literally no way to dissuade either person.
That's true, and for me roleplay is always limited. There are just some things I won't do even for roleplay, and there are certain things that seem out of whack with my idea of the story so I won't do those, either. And you can talk about how you always roleplay your character until your face turns blue, but how you personally feel about a character matters. I'll make up excuses to romance Alistair because I don't like Zevran or Leliana's romances. It may make sense for my character (at least to me) but it was my personal feelings that swayed my decision.
One thing I've realized is that, though my individual playthroughs have variations including different romances, I have a certain idea in mind of the DAO overarching story. And I can't deviate from that basic storyline or it feels wrong. It's like a kid who wants to hear his favorite bedtime story. Not that I mean other people's canon stories are wrong, but for myself, if I see Anora sashaying in to the post-Landsmeet meeting, it just feels wrong. Like the kid in the Princess Bride movie when his grandpa starts reading Buttercup's dream. The kid knows that's not how the story ends.
And for me, the PC as Loghain figure and Alistair as the Maric figure, basically heroic and buddies at the end of the game; the bastard prince who comes into his own and becomes king even though it's exactly what his father tried to spare him from; and the idealistic Warden who agrees to give an apostate a demon baby despite all alarm bells to the contrary... this is what constitutes the story I want to hear.

I gotta admit, I'm not really a fan of photorealistic art :x I'd never have the talent to make anything like that but it kind of creeps me out.
I like some of her other stuff, but the Duncan one looks too weird. I don't mind photorealitic art if it isn't pornographic.

This thread has gotten way too slow. Everyone is busy defending Alistair's honor. Personally, I think it's a lost cause.
Me too. Just let it turn into a Alistair-bash thread until Gaider comes on here and kicks their butt and shuts down the thread. There is no intelligent Alistair/Loghain arguments, just Alistair/Loghain-bashing.

It can strike me as too sweet sometimes, despite the fact that it's citrus. I prefer a lemon or lime cheesecake. Somehow the cheese tartness and the citrus tartness balance out the sweet better than a curd type like key lime pie is. Last weekend I made a lime version of Gooey Butter Cake... now that was good.LadyDamodred wrote...

There doesn't seem to be any middle ground. You either love Alistair or you hate him. I will never ever understand the Loghain or Anora love, but that is just me. I really don't feel like going into a thread and arguing about it.Kryyptehk wrote...

Well saying things like 'your guys arguments are worthless becuase you don't really think think this but you are making up rationalizations due to your mad Alistair/Loghain love' hardly helps things.Kryyptehk wrote...
