I won't tell you how amazingly good it is because, when you do finally get to try it, your expectations might be so high that you would only be disappointed. And I'm not about to ruin someone's ability to love pie. But it's pretty good, you should try it.

I'm playing Dalish rogue this PT, and intend to get to romancing dear Alistair after I have my way with Zev (It's all part of a RP plan. lol. How sad am I?) The thing is, I intend to harden him in this PT, since I didn't do it before (she's not a bad elf, but she is damn cocky), but I'm torn now. I was wondering if there are any major drawbacks to it? I know you don't get the 'I love you' line from him if you do, but does anything else change majorly in that? (I also know I need him hardened to be his mistress if I make him king, but I'm going for the 'run away together' option). Any advice?



Also, those are some damn fine screenies.

If you harden him?  You can become his mistress.  You can have a threesome w/ Isabela in the Pearl.  Beyond that it slightly changes the dialog.  He'll actually see becoming King as a positive thing.  He sees he'll be able to make a difference.  Also, if he's hardened and you have him dual Loghain he'll automatically excute him and declare himself King.

Most of what changes is his point of view when it comes to doing slightly selfish things, or things requiring confidence in himself.  So that includes things like taking on a mistress (love over potential duty to a future political marriage) and his attitude towards the throne (he's more willing to believe he can do it, and do a good job).

There are a few dialogs that change, but not really that much.  And he will still tell you that he loves you, if he's in love when you sleep with him, so you don't have to miss out!  Though admittedly, it's not as cute an "I love you".

Well part of the issue is the toolset. But there are some new things coming in. It won't save any changes I make to your B2B. I am trying a few experiments, but so far it's not working. I am taking a break for now.

I managed the evil Alistair shot!
