It's okay if you don't like yogurt, KoP. I can relate as just the thought of cheesecake makes my stomach turn. Ugh, disgusting. Cheese should never be mixed with sugar.

Crazy is relative.
Ok some people accuse me of being crazy for HATING yogurt.
You WHAT!? How could you!? Well I never loved you anyway! And you know what else, Xanatos is a DOUCHE. I said it!:crying:
*stumbles away crying and desperately searching for Herr's loving arms*
See?
This is the third time I lose someone for not being able to stand the sight of yogurt.
Seriously, the only girl who would be able to convince me to even smell that thing, would be Morrigan.

The very smell of yogurt makes me nauseous. Oddly, I love soft serve frozen yogurt.

But... cheese is the dessert course in some places! And Stilton with apricots is really good. I do think the really old English cheesecake recipes that have grated Cheddar look kind of gross. Cream cheese and/or ricotta do nicely on their own.yukidama wrote...

Ugh, it is one of the foulest substances produced by man. If you ever wanted to kill me just put cheesecake, flan/custard/jello, mushrooms and jellyfish near me. That would be a meal tailor made to torture and murder me.

See, Key Lime Pie is one of those American things that I don't understand. Why is it called KEY lime pie? What's a key lime any way? Why not just call it a lime? I love it, by the way, but I call it a lime tart.
Pies should have tops on them.
It's also the Florida state pie, you know. From Wikipedia...
Key lime pie is an American dessert made of key lime juice, egg yolks, and sweetened condensed milk in a pie crust.[1] The traditional conch version uses the egg whites and has a meringue topping.[2] The dish is named after the small key limes (Citrus aurantifolia 'Swingle') that are naturalized throughout the Florida Keys. While their thorns make them less tractable, and their thin yellow rind more perishable, key limes are more tart and aromatic than the common Persian limes seen year round in most U.S. grocery stores.

Some key lime pies flat out suck. In fact, I remember this being covered in Dexter where a dying woman wanted to taste the perfect key lime pie before she died. Dexter would bring her a new pie from a different place every time he visited her in the hospital, but it was never right. She'd say real key lime pies weren't dyed green or this or that. The ones you get in the freezer section of the grocery store are just OK. The ones you order in a restaurant can be better -- to date, I like the California Pizza Kitchen version the best. Lots of tart in it.
(Oh, and she did die right after tasting the perfect key lime pie. Because I know how much we all like happy endings.)
