Since my dalish is princess slice, he goes classic with S&S...and it matches perfectly. He rams all the enemies down and I go all 'slicy' on them while on the ground.

That's true, Awakening was a step in the right direction, though I had seen that PC in Awakening, too, and Charsen's EF kiss knocked my socks off.  I'm fine with them keeping PC facial expressions subtle and limited in the vanilla game, otherwise people complain about their PC being forced into an emotional response.  Just thankful for talented modders to fill in the gaps.

What I hope is that Bioware sees the success of the romances and keeps this going.  I get the feeling that the romance stuff was toned down, probably to satisfy men who would be yucked out by it.

Do you mean DW sweep and Whirlwind?

I'm not a tactics master by any means, but I generally set Any-->Momentum, Surrounded by two enemies-->DW Sweep, Enemy health greater than 90-->Riposte, Enemy health less than 25-->Flurry.  Just off the top of my head those are some of my tactics settings for DW warriors.

I'm really enjoying having Alistair and me doing DW's. I love how we'll simultaneously use the same attack at the exact same time on the same person lol. I just wish my print finger was faster lmao. Those make some killer shots.

It makes fighting along side Alistair that much more exhilarating.

Yep, I always felt the same with my rogue CEF and Zevran.  Quite a dynamic duo.

You know, Zevran has his default tactics set to attack whatever is attacking the PC.  That's a rogue thing, but it makes for a sweet RP situation.  Watching your LI drop what he is doing and beeline to save you is great.

Edit:  One thing I would miss about a DW Alistair is that sexy, sexy shield bash.  It's nice to see him not only come to your rescue, but flatten the enemy who dared attack you.  LOL  Such mush... I'm glad the people on this thread understand.

I have almost all of them set up  'Riposte' then 'Flurry', if surrounded 'Whirlwind' or 'Punisher' , 'DW Sweep' as well

I've always turned those off but with me having 2 DW's right now I may just have to set Alistair up for that just to see him come chargin to save you.  Except right now there's no romance set so he wouldn't be saving his lady love lol.  I may have to wait lmao

I REALLY need to get to the store. I hope I can get a file up on my project this weekend for everyone. Only my testers will have the ability to download the one I get up today. I could still use a couple more, preferably anyone with elf chars who are romancing Alistair. Unfortunately I don't have any at the moment, since I haven't actually played the game in a few days.

I'm willing to test, but you have to give instructions like for a trained monkey.  I'm still quite new at the whole modding thing.  But I have game saves from previous games as well as my current one.

Hey, ever since I played DW warrior I knew, this is it. I haven't had Alistair DW yet, but my next playthrough will be a DW team. So, what Origin shall I choose? Uh, let's go for ... HNF ... the fourth time.

And then my Lady Aeducan and my Amell and a Dalish Elf. I gotta lot to do.

Just waiting for the mod.

Do it anyway!  It can be him being protective of his fellow Warden, and that could be something that wins your PC's heart.
