THAT IS HILARIOUS.

And tmp has to customize each armor to fit the new model so you need to use the default armors in the package he's enclosed with his zip.

Generally not, i'm afraid. The way DA works even the reskins include their own skeleton file for the parts they replace (it comes bundled in the file which defines what material to apply to the mesh) and as such you get unholy mix of default skeleton and modified mesh that results in dwarverines and other nice stuff. Unless the mod author uses the modified skeleton file in their project rather than the stock DA one.

With humans and elves it's not so noticeable because their tweaks were small. But dwarves, well.

Now it's working!! I can still use Serissia's armor, just have to change the gloves out.

Btw, a semi-easy way to make armour mod fully compatible with this proportion thing is to make a copy of relevant .mmh file from the proportion mod (heavy armour .mmh for heavy armour etc) rename this copy so it uses the name expected by the custom armour and then use the Toolset to change one field in this copy so it uses the material with the custom armour texture.



If someone needs details of that please drop me a note and i'll try to explain.

That's all I did .. I put on the red jenny seeker gloves, and it worked just fine!

One of these days I'm gonna try the toolset...  as soon as they publish the "Toolset for Idiots" version.
