Agreed. I mean, in D&D, one could inflict enemies with all manner of slow poisons, diseases, bio-chemical acidic clouds that eat flesh, ect. You also have spells that can alter one's form, turning a wimpy nerd mage into Conan the destroyer with like 10 arms or something.
I'm hoping DA2 will explore the uses of bio, chemical....and something on the level of nukes. Or, do enter the Shadowrun universe, come up with games where one can genetically and cybernetically alter one's self into the ultimate killing machine.
With Role Playing, of course.
