And, since we are on the topic of Bioware games, I HIGHLY recommend Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I rank it right up there with DA, and feel like it was like the game that started it all....

And Jade Empire has some fantastic Lore as well although the fandom isn't very big.

There was a discussion once that the ME universe needs a space Alistair <3. So the idea is that the romances are not as fleshed out as those in DA:O.

Nobody knows how things will play out in ME 3. Everybody is hoping for their favorites to make a return though.

DAO was my first foray into real games, especially PC games. Before that I usually only played when some version of Zelda came out :P (Aside from the time I was sucked into WoW, and came out for breath a few months later going, what the hell happened??!!)

So I haven't played any of the other games I keep hearing about.

ME2 was good, but I've only played it to completion once. I originally thought ME was good, but after playing ME2, I can't play ME. Just not as good, in my opinion.

I've played WoW, but not very much. I usually just play if I'm bored.

I feel ME1 was better in having your party members interact with the NPCs more - and with each other - and in the lack of a need to pick up annoying ammo but other than that...yeah, ME2 fixed a lot of annoying gameplay issues.

I know! Especially on the PC. The Xbox isn't that bad but, MY GOD, on the PC it is 10x worst than getting a nail stuck through your big toe.

I happened to meet a fun group of women the 2nd day I started playing. We had a total girls night out chat and kill fest going, so it got pretty addictive. I mean, chatting and killing at the same moment, how can you beat that?! :P

So an Ali-thread like thing while killing people? Can't get much better lol. I play with my ex, who has two level 80s. It's not all that fun lol

I don't think I have played any other Bioware games.

I usually play online games - except for my <past> favorite Oblivion - which I think I played through at least 100 times lol

Nothing has come close to the fun I am having with this though.

It's just SO different and so much more interactive.

And of course... it has Alistair lol <3

Hmm. I think orgies sound better on paper than they do when happening. Plus, I can't go around killing things in RL, or I'd be put away. So... no, I'm going to go with killing as my first choice

I'm not even bothering to complete the collecting minerals or whatever mini-quest this time around. Good news about ME2: No more Mako!

And Planescape Torment. PS:T is probably the best RPG ever made, such a shame it was lost under the Diablo click-boom release.

lol. I met another girl who played with her ex, who had some level 80's. She didn't enjoy it much either. Especially since they'd had a baby together, but were separated, and then she still played with him and he'd flirt with other girls. They were broken up, but still... not fun!! You're not Vipersbaby, are you? lol.

But probing every planet you come across. Such a chore to do on PC.

Aside from the fact that I am TERRIBLEEEEE at shooters, the damn driving just sucks so bad. I usually end up driving into an invisible wall and the truck just spazzes the hell out and dies. Whatever >:|

Well, that wasn't Bioware, so that was taken out of consideration.

Yeah, that's not much fun either but it certainly takes less time than combing the entire surface and you only need so many planets to do all the ship upgrades.

No but she does sound a lot like me, except me and my ex are on very good terms lol. We just argue when he tries to give me advice on how to play my characters

I *liked* the Mako. :( I went and explored every planet, and thought to myself: "THIS IS AWESOME!" Maybe I am crazy. I do prefer DA:O's conversation system by far - in ME/2 you could only speak with your team members while onboard the Normandy. At least it was better than Awakening's system...*mutters*

EDIT: Top of page.
