Duplicate the original line, then select the copy (one without VO) and use command "Convert to Cutscene" from the Edit menu i think. THen just paste the "speak line" command for Alistair in the cutscene the Toolset helpfully makes you, save and you're done.

Luck, mostly. The camera got "caught" clipping a pillar and it kicked it down. The pillar disappeared so I could get a clear shot.

I do that a lot, pause, swing the camera around, zoom in and out, etc...

I suspect that glitch happens because that's the spot where the cutscenes happen, and the game simply doesn't move him back to original point after the scene is done. The original version uses script to launch the cutscene, if it's done from dialogue line directly... well, that may be a side-effect of that.
A quick and dirty fix _may_ be, add an extra line to the dialogue file, with cutscene which plays after this one. This extra cutscene doesn't really have to have anything in it, just need to happen in the camp and place Alistair back where he should be. You can have camera turned off so it happens behind black screen, too.

What can i say, only one of my characters had that particular conversation with Alistair so when i was working on camera cuts and such for the elf variant it kind of came to mindAddai67 wrote...
