My sister never played DA or any video games but if the baby was going to be a girl oddly the name sounded close to Leliana.

I was planing that since I was 10 lol.Yes, choosing names is extremily important to us. We have to take into account a dozen hings.

Plus, we also come to agreement with our siblings that they do nto steal the name, even if they had kids before the others.

I guess years of planning would prevent you from naming your kid, I don't know, Apple.

@ Mel. Actually I htink I prayed in Sultan Ahmed. I always confuse the two, they look alike. But I did go to Hagia Sophia, yes.

I don't have a special reason to see it, I just think it is beautiful. Because it is.

I believe Sultan Ahmed was always a mosque, and Hagia Sohia was a Christian church to start.  Hagia Sophia was one of the first of its kind, built in the 13th century.  Sultan Ahmed was built several hundred years later.  But I digress..... Alistair!!

One of the most prominent churches among Eastern Orthodox.  Its original construction is much older.  Sultan Ahmed was built in order to rival it, but ended up being smaller by a few feet in the dome span.  The sultan had the architect's hands cut off and then executed for failing to exceed it.  Tough line of work!

I've been many times.  I could give you a tour.    The dome is being restored now by the American Byzantine Society, who have also done great work elsewhere in Istanbul.
