nah, KoP has class and style even when he is being argumentative.  Plus he actually makes sense and is smart.  This guy has just a tiny pinched nose and beady eyes and since he doesn't use mods has no weenie.  Hence the Alistair jealousy.

I'm going to say "no."  At least not as a general rule.  There are times when his emotions override cold logic, to be sure.

Hmm was this a pre-landsmeet convo?  I personally always considered his post-landsmeet breakup to be pretty poorly handled by the game developers.

I actually like the way he handles relationship conficts because they seem very real to me. Sometimes he gets angry at the PC when he's really angry at himself, very much like what happens in real life.

In regards to him being manipulative -- He would need to be doing it on purpose, in order to elicit a reaction. I agree that the pouty-puppy dog face does make you feel bad, but I don't think he has an inkling of what he's doing. He just wears his emotions on his sleeve.

As far as how he handles relationships and conflcts, I completely agree with LadyD, and she said it better than I could so I'm not going to try and rephrase

LOL Yea my daughter would gobble you right up.  She could make a stone cry.  She has the wickedest wit I have ever seen in anyone and with ADHD, she pretty much says whatever she thinks.  She lacks one of those little buttons most people have that censors what they say.
