I'm not thinking of any profile in particular, it's more of a 'if I find a piece of artwork that doesn't specifically state 'don't post' on the profile page then what's the general consensus?' Do you ask people not to post without a link? I think if you just copy and paste it then moving your cursor over it reveals the link anyway and the author's name is part of the link so it's easy to find.Lady Jess wrote...

So what's the general rule of thumb for reposting DeviantART pictures? I normally just find some and post them but there was this one really adorable one that when I clicked on their profile threatened to shank anyone who reposted their work...
Post the link instead.
I personally, don't want my DA stuff reposted without a link to my page. others just don't care. it would be easier to answer if you show the profile in question though.

KoP! How are things going at home?
Awww
Things are great. It's 4:35 am, aka I have a jet lag.
I recieved a warm welcome and there were fireworks near my home, which I only assumed were for my honor (they are actually for the world cup).
And I'm watching World Cup matches with my family mostly.
Oh and eating, eating, eating. Of course.

That just strengthens my theory that the troll is secretly KoP. He just doesn't want to lose his fangirls, so he created another account to be stupid and bash Alistair on.
Makes sense to me:P

It's 4 where you are? Holy moly, it's nearly 11 over here. I think we were in the same time zone when you were in Quebec. I can't imagine the jet lag, I get jet lag going from Atlanta to Key West (aka staying in the same time zone lol)
My internal clock is going to explode when we move to GA later this year. I haven't lived in EST since feb 2003. We spent 4 years in AK time (EST - 4) and now 3 years in PST.

Why are you moving to GA? Are you crazy? The only reason I can think of is your husband is getting stationed here. I cannot think of another reason to be in GA.

I suppose that's a fair way of looking at it. Although the way he expresses himself when it comes to disagreements still irks me a bit. I guess it's the way he goes from upset to "pouty" that bothers me. Although if you're suggesting that's just him showing he's genuinely hurt rather than trying to manipulate, I would agree. That wouldn't really change the fact that it can be manipulative though... I mean even I felt bad for him in some of those convos. Being mean to him really does feel like kicking a puppy. He's good, even if he doesn't do it intentionally
Yeah, that is what I was trying to say. He's not trying to play your emotions, but if you care about him, that's what happens.

We go where Uncle Sam's finger lands on the map. In this case, Western Georgia. Which is ok by me. I've had about enough of the pacific Northwest at this point. We'll be living on the same post they shot We Were Soldiers on (Mel Gibson and Sam Elliot...sigh), which thrills me beyond belief. And it won't be a bad drive to hit up Daytona (bike week), and Disney (before the kids leave us...lol), plus there's the Ren Fair, the Historic sites, cemetaries, old churches...I can't friggin wait. Oh and beaches that you can actually SEE the ocean!...lol

And I am a Snake in the Chinese horoscope. I am very proud of that.

LOL we left there in 2007, we've been in WA since. And unfortunately, we lived far inland, and never got to visit Juneau (you can't drive there from where we lived). Where, you can I am told, see Russia on a clear day.
