OK, I don't think my read me was clear, testers. And since I can't figure out how to send a mass message to my group, here is a link to help navigate the scenes. NSFW most likely. If anyone wants to change the lines let me know it's not hard at all, and since I am not creative I just put whatever everyone else wants.

BUT... I DID cry when she was in the provong and whipped off the helm.
It was one of the best scenes in the origins.
Very powerful imo.

I did not care for Darrien either. I would have preferred Ser Gilmore too.  So usually now I invite Duncan to my room which he rejects and then settle for Iona.

No you are not weird! Duncan is hot for an older guy.  And the way he looks so sad for HNF when she says goodbye to her parents knowing the horrorific fate that awaits them is just so sweet and tender.

He seemed like such a great man - able to make that hard decisions but underneath it seems he really hated having to.

Like underneath he really was a good, caring and probably really loving man - sweet and tender yes!

Does anyone know how old Duncan is supposed to be? He, Riordan and Teagan never seem that old to me. They seem like they're in their 40's.

Nearly forty, certainly. He was about 18 in The Calling, which would put him as about 12 years older than Cailan.

I think his lifestyle jsut makes him look older.
