But he's yet to even have to as it keeps happening. First it was when I explained why I hate Aeducan/Alistair, then it was when I made it sound like I didn't think long-distance couples had real relationships, then it was the ;would your PC be with Alistair if he could have kids one', then it was about changing the subject yesterday, and now this.

I keep pissing Yuki, especially, off lately to the extent that it's really making me wonder how accidental that block was versus subconscious...

It's not like I'm trying to be inflammatory. Maybe it's just that I usually hold the minority opinion that I'm trying to overcompensate for? 

To be honest, I think it is because you are young. You take everything so personally, so when Yuki is trying to stop the argument and she steps on your toes a little, you freak out. It was very awkward in here (at least to me) because the arguments stopped being about the elven/human thing and devolved into your perception that everyone hated you, just because you aren't an Alistairian. I often have ideas that contridict what other people think, but I'm pretty sure that they don't hate me for it....right?

And this isn't attacking you, just something I noticed and what I know of you from talking to you on here.

 That's probably true but...didn't you say I was older than you?

The dislike of DN/Alistair is the only one on the list which would be considered Anti-PC/Alistair and there are others who won't romance him as a dwarf do to arm length/height/'chubbiness.' The second one was not realizing real-world implications and the third was just something I was curious about as I have heard some people here say that the lack of fertility contributes to their decision to romance Alistair as an elf.

Hmm this could get tricky when trying to prevent the hair from clipping into the rest of character, i'll have to look into that. But i think the hairstyle the little girls get in DA is actually side tails, would that do as a starting point?

And Sarah, none of what we've been discussing has been anything worthy of blocking you, so I wouldn't worry about that. I'm just in a bit of a bad mood lately, so anyone I have an argument or discussion with is getting their heads bitten off before I get a chance to tell myself to calm down. If I were to block anyone intentionally, I'd let them know it. Not that blocking seems to do much on these forums anyway, which is why I hadn't realized I had done in the first place.

I learned that the hard way a few months ago. Only one forum poster I wanted to put on my permanent ignore list so I added the name to block and wondered why it didn't seem to work. Turns out it just blocks that person from seeing anything on your profile. Completely worthless feature.

lol, no, i'll put it on the list of things to do   don't want to promise anything though since i don't yet know how much work it is to convert things between the female and male head shapes. Realistically, if i do manage to convert it, it will be some later than the female versions.

You are certainly entitled to feel how you feel about the subjects and even discuss them just pointing out that they can end up being taken as an attack on the PC/Alistair relationship (Long distance =Awakenings situation or maybe PC goes back to Orzammar and leaves romanced Al on the Throne) And the PC being with Al if he can have kids thing is also a kind of hot topic too considering the heir issue. All well and good to have different opinions as long as you recognize bringing things like that up is inevitably going to be seen as an attack on the PC/Alistair relationship no matter how you intend it to start with.

I do like the Alistair romance, actually, it's just that due to his species and/or King status he's wrong for a majority of my PCs (his first and second non-King endings will be if my HNM ever manages to get out of Redcliffe and he'll stay with the Wardense once and then get exiled/executed once). Still, my HN is very happy with him.

I actually don't see the point of this elf/human discussion. If it isn't about my Dalish who is happily banging Alistair then I have to ask: So what? As said many times before the elf/human relationship is rare and rather an exception. Elvish people stay mostly under elves for that very reason, which is fine. And once more if it's not about my PC why should I care about them in the first place? I'm not responsible for whatever they are doing, if they are interbreeding or not, so I don't will take the blame for when...whatever happens, if it happens. Not to mention that they are a fictional folk anyway... o___O Weird discussion, really.

Btw.: Lenya hates children anyway. She eats them for breakfast.
