And Itachi...  Holy god.  *weeps*  That about damn near broke me when he died.

It USED to be adorable. But then sometime around the time Itachi died () Sasuke went fail.

Have you watched One Piece out of curiosity? It's similar in tone but not so overdrawn, and with some genuinely touching moments between the laughs.

Yes, but the show didn't pretend to be a romantic drama. It was just mindless fun,m with ridiculous romance plots for the lulz. The only half decent romance was Vegeta and Bulma.

Naruto/Sasuke was never adorable.  It was an abomination.  And Sasuke went fail long before Itachi died.  He went fail when he left Konoha for the most retarded, effed up reason.  He didn't deserve Itchai as a brother and I hope that whatever Itachi did to Naruto lets Naruto kill Sasuke.

No I haven't.

And I realise I was too generalising. I am sure there are decent Japanese anime shows. I just haven't come across any. Yet at least.
In general, I prefer western cartoons.

 To be fair, Orochimaru was screwing with him pretty badly and Itachi had also just ****ed him up and put him in a coma for weeks on end. Still, running away from home to go join a guy who clearly wants to molest you...that was kind of stupid? Did you ever like Sasuke?

And I realise I was to generalising. I am sure there are decent Japanese anime shows. I just haven't come across any. Yet at least.

Chichi. Yeah, that whole 'Is marriage a type of food? I want it!' from Goku and then Chichi chasing him down and making him marry her...kind of lame. You just need to find a good manga series. Some of the shojo ones have better romances than the shonen ones.

He's...think Loghain except more crazy and evil, younger, and with a chronic inability to make rational decisions. I'm still not over this. If that's not crossing some sort of line then I don't know what is.

I have no idea who these peopel are lol. I only vaguely remember a guy hiding his face, with red eyes, because of a stupid amv on Youtube. I thought he looked somewhat badass, comapred to the little blond kind that I assume is Naruto.

Shikamaru, the biggest genius in the series.

Itachi, also a genius and ridiculously loyal. Not to mention really hot.
The one with the silver hair is Kakashi who is ALSO a genius but also a perv and chronically late.

Sai. He's hilarious although literally only just discovered emotions.
