We're trying to decide if we should replace "Something you need my dear?" with "Hmmm?" or "My love?" or whatever you see fit.

I like mods that allow you to romance Alistair as a man (hot! because Alistair is HOT!) or Morrigan as a female (meh) - but change the lore beyond that? I can't approve of non-human king-/queen-consorts.

Edit: Can you even become queen-consort as a male? Or does Alistair break-up with you because you can't have an heir?

I agree on most of the lore-breaking stuff, but being a female PC with the Equal Love mod does have one major benefit (besides the Bella smooch<3):

Given my druthers, I prefer the original. It seems perfectly in character for Alistair, to me. The 'hmmm' one doesn't work for me in this context, because it seems like seems like something one would say whild distracted by something else, not when standing around the campfire.

I've never made any of my male nobles "Queen", i have them remain as Alistair's lovers and they all usely ask to become chancellor. I don't want to change the lore, i want to stick with most of the narrative story and not wonder away from it.

What a thought. The King has a male lover on the side.
That would be something I'd actually like to play!

Edit: Although the attempted break-up probably still sounds weird, hm? He's still stating the obvious.

Oh, yeah, I discussed that with cmessaz last night.  If we're going to change it, I would go with 'Hmmm?'.  But as I told her, I never had a problem with the 'Something you need, my dear?'  To me, it kinda perfectly sums up a long-term, stable, loving relationship.  If I had to choose, I would probably leave it.  But if it's going to be changed, then my vote is for 'Hmmm?'.  Just covering all bases.

I disagree with this statement.  >.>  Bigger can hurt.  Like your shoulders and upper back, etc...  One reason I hate games that make fem characters with huge boobs.  Reality tells me how much it sucks.  -.-

Just a quick note: Equal love does change alistair_main.dlg and genpt_alistair_defined.ncs so is incompatible with cmessaz's mod (and with ZDF).
