But... but... the voice...

I have to say that it was easy to forget he's Alistair when watching Crossing Jordan.  The character there is so different, plus he seems to have been using a more working class accent or something.

Yeah, but if you don't know him beyond 'blood mage that poisoned the Arl and accidentally started a zombie apocalypse' then that's not really a very practical decision.

So, running around Orzammar last night, I decided to put Leliana in the party to change things up a bit.  I haven't had her in my party since maybe my 3rd or 4th character so it's been a while since I heard her party banters.

First thing I hear is her talking about dressing Morrigan, second is her comment that she drank a thimble full of dwarven ale and woke up in Jader wearing nothing but her shoes.  Andraste's blood, that is an image I did not need.   



Here Alistair is talking about Lothering and about how he thinks it's alright to be a little bit weak.  It's one of my favorite banters of his, though no doubt one that drives the haters crazy.

I love that he's not all macho "must be strong rawr!" kind of guy. He's strong when he needs to be but he recognizes that doesn't need to be all the time.

Zombie Apocolypse would have started without him, Connor would have become possessed with or without Jowan. There's also the option to free him with another dialog choice, and he'll appear in the main hall begging to help, to redeem himself. But if you really can't do that, then considering all he wants is to make things right with the circle (which is how Loghain took advantage) then the kindest thing is to leave him in the cell, and when Teagan, and later Eamon ask your opinion tell them it's not their place, it's a matter for the circle.

Leliana has permanently lost Orzammar privileges after the first time I heard her musing about getting a job there helping the King reach things on tall shelves. No, Leliana, that is not adorable.

Not to mention I wouldn't put it past most in the warrior/noble castes to have her killed for that remark...
