Yeah, that's exactly how I feel. It's why I only really play RPGs.

I only play DA:O. I can't find another RPG that measures up to the story, graphics and interaction. Those were the only 2 shooters I liked, I'm not into sports, puzzles frustrate me. So yeah...I'm pretty much screwed when I'm eventually finished with DA:O.

GAHHH FPS again.../flail

Having seen internet cafes full of young men absolutely glued to their screens playing multiplayer FPS, I guess I can understand.  I mean, I'm assuming these games are sold internationally, and the young male majority among gamers in North America and Europe is probably a universal male majority in a lot of countries.

I enjoyed Half Life 2 actually. it had a bit of story to it, it was challenging even on easy. And I like the ww2 style for Call of Duty World at War. But that's about it.

I bought Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1 and played it for about 20 minutes.  It is too intense and too dependent on speed/ reflexes rather than something more thoughtful.  I'm never going to be good at that and that isn't a relaxing or entertaining experience to me, at ALL.

Modern Warfare is pretty fun for an hour or two at a time. But if I play any more than that, I get jittery and annoyed. My reflexes are pretty terrible too

Once the thesis is done and I finish sating myself on a PC copy of DAO, I have FFXIII and Star Ocean 3 for my PS3, and the new Ace Attorney game to finish on my DS.  lol Yeah, I scored pretty well on my birthday this year!

But I've been playing RPGs since I could read, almost, and I do attribute a lot of my love of reading and good stories to all the games I played as a kid.  <3

Heh, I kind of feel that way, too, since every attempt to distract myself with another game has failed.  I liked Fallout 3 and Oblivion a lot, but I don't know if I can go back to lonely adventuring, either.  My alternative once I eventually get sick of DA is to clean my house and read more.  It wouldn't be an entirely bad thing.  Posted Image

I don't really care about genre, I just like good games. I liked Modern Warfare 2 but I also like DA and KotOR.

Yeah, I definitely have a list of books that are piling up, and a whole lot of spring cleaning that is probably going to be Autumn cleaning, by the looks of things.

I really can't get into anything but RPG and/or adventure --- I have a soft spot for Legend of Zelda games.

Me too, though I've only played the console ones, not the portable ones.

Also, hey Sabreene! :D

I haven't gotten much time to play this one, but I beat the first game in like 5 days.  :D Yay Christmas breaka nd work training me to not need more than a few hours of sleep!

But now Edgeworth has to compete with Alistair, and Alistair wins, of course.  :P
