My canon Cousland is blondish with those turquoise blue eyes.  lol Which I suppose is rather fantasy traditional, but perhaps maybe not Cousland traditional?  Some day I will get a picture of her up - she came out gorgeous but her profile won't show up.  *cries*  

This is the best pic of her, and it's a pretty crappy one.  I think it's off my cell-phone even..

Probably. According to the Wiki green eyes are canon for the couslands. Even though the game doesn't reflect this. And Fergus has dark brown hair in the game. My Cousland has the green eyes, but black hair.

OhI didn't know that. Excellent, Arcturus has green eyes. And the black hair in the game sort of looks like dark brown.

My Cousland has that look.  And yes, most fics have that, but not all.  I think it stems partly from the wiki stating the Couslands have green eyes, even though Bryce has blue and Fergus has brown.  Eleanor is the only one with green.  And the dark hair, well, Ferelden seems to be mostly dark-haired, so it fits.

I did green/brown because that's what it would be in the Sims. My first HN was green/auburn, because I had no clue what the Couslands looked like.

My first character had brown hair and brown eyes because dwarves dwell underground and I was going for colors of dirt and/or metals. I was a bit shocked to find that I had brothers with pale blonde hair and blue eyes. =p

Same, my HF got blue eyes after dad and black hair... not sure why, probably as contrast after the blonde CE. Guess i should retcon it to dark brown to fit Fergus but meh, lazy.

Ooh, i have checked and both Cousland parents have the stubble colour set to black (it's used for the eyebrows)  Which is the default so someone probably just didn't bother to set it --though on the other hand they did set it to dark brown for Fergus-- but it's good enough excuse for young black-haired Cousland for me

Not to mention that apparently more than one gene are behind hair and eye color (which was the only way I was able to understand having a redheaded and green-eyed mother, a dark-haired and dark-eyed father father, be redheaded and green-eyed myself with a redheaded blue-eyed brother, a dark-haired dark-eyed brother, and a blonde blue-eyed brother).

Very likely. DA Re-designed uses its own face textures with much brighter teeth so you probably notice them more compared to default.

If i remember right the author is planning to make version with regular teeth in next release, as option.

Green eyes can either be a sibling of blue eyes, and are then just like having a blue eyed parent, or they can be a sibling of hazel eyes, and then act like a hazel eyed parent. Usually the clearer the green/closer to blue it is, the more likelyhood it has of being related to the blue gene.

If your eyes and your husbands eyes are both related to the blue, then your children would have to have either blue eyes or a green that is related to the blue, too!

My parents both have blue eyes, as do my sisters. My eyes are blue/green, they change dependent on what I'm wearing

That does it. You can go into the .erf file and delete the items that make the teeth white, if you want to keep the rest of it. If you have the toolset, that is

The last paper I read said probably at least four major loci, I think.  Essentially brown is dominant over all else, and the rest are kind of a hodge-podge depending on what modifiers you get.

Greyish blue is the base color, and everything builds off of that.  If you're albino, you get no color, and the red is from the blood vessels at the back of the eye.

Also, could someone link me to the latest release of cme's mod?  I have people begging for it....
