I actually find my eye color stranger (well, aside from my eyes being a REALLY weird color) seeing as I have a blue eyed and a brown eyed parent.  Really, I think the whole thing is a bit more complex, but my knowledge of DNA and genetics is, well, just scratching the surface to put it lightly!  I know everything I was taught in school about it (mumble years ago) is wrong.

in RL my mom had black hair (went white young) and brown eyes. My dad had green eyes brown hair. My middle brother had green eyes (even inheriting some kind of odd discoloration in the iris from my father's family). My youngest brother had brown eyes. We all had brown hair (mine went white early) and I got my gramma's blue eyes. My daughter got her blue eyes from me (but her father does carry the gene cause his brother has blue eyes even if his are hazel.

lol My genetics prof for human genetics used to tell us that he checked the journals every morning before class just in case his lesson plans for the day needed to change.  Sometimes, they did!  Especially from semester to semester!

Not to mention that apparently more than one gene are behind hair and eye color (which was the only way I was able to understand having a redheaded and green-eyed mother, a dark-haired and dark-eyed father father, be redheaded and green-eyed myself with a redheaded blue-eyed brother, a dark-haired dark-eyed brother, and a blonde blue-eyed brother).

The last paper I read said probably at least four major loci, I think.  Essentially brown is dominant over all else, and the rest are kind of a hodge-podge depending on what modifiers you get.

Greyish blue is the base color, and everything builds off of that.  If you're albino, you get no color, and the red is from the blood vessels at the back of the eye.

I find genetics fascinating. One of my degrees is in Anthropology with an emphasis in genetics, and it's just really amazing information. I went into a different field, but I still try to keep on top of it reading the scientific journals.

Ah, I'm boring.  Asian, so dark haired, dark eyed, and my kids will be exactly the same because the two are homozygous in me!   (I hope I'm not the only person who sits around thinking what traits their kids might get but that might be the geneticist in me....)

On the other hand, I have a heck of a lot of copper/red in my hair so even though it's dark, in the light it goes copper/bronze naturally, which I like, and my eyes are nearly black brown, which is kind of cool.  So I guess it's not so bad.

I think it was recent change in that mod. If you open the comment page for it, people are discussing it on page 3 which has posts from just few days ago. The author does say he will have version with regular teeth for release 7.2 (current one is 7.1)

Dracomies whitens all the teeth  Like tmp said, Dracomies updated the skins and one of the fixes he did was to make the teeth whiter. If you look in the comments, you can see people wondering the same thing... what happend to the teeth?! lol. He does say he'll release a non-toothy version as an option, but he hasn't done it yet.

Do you have the toolset? I can tell you how to fix it in the meantime.

Awww.    I'm just going to take HNF's game at a normal pace and enjoy it when it comes up, I think.  The question is.. do I turn Zevran's romance on.  Last time I did that more or less by accident, and it killed me to be in a love triangle, but then the love triangle sort of turned into a "thing" that figured it into her character.  So I guess I should.  *sigh*

It's not you! It's me too. Or maybe it's just us Aquariuns  When my sister got married, we traced his tree and our tree back, looking for different genetic markers, including all the hair color and eye colors. It was so much fun... but I don't know how many other people would think so.

If it's part of who she is, I guess you should do it....I hate being in love triangles too, so I work really really hard not to romance the other options. But Leliana usually goes and ninja romances me anyways.

I think brown eyes are absolutely beautiful and people with brown eyes can get away with a lot more in eye make-up, especially with bright and bold colors.
