But I'm prepared to be corrected (as always ;-) ) - particulary as I just got up and my brain is just now starting to tick over.

I do recognize one local dialect in the VA's- Connor's VA must be from northern England. I LOVE northern England accents, and when he said "mother poot Jowan in the doongeon", I squee'ed a little. Or... I would have squee'ed, if the scene weren't about a demon-possessed child. Yeah.
