And... she looks older? Okay, how about now?

No? Now?

Okay. Fine.

Happy, Tori? xDD
I forgot to change her hair back to normal, but she's back now! She'll have the short hair for Awakening, though.

Haha, Jess, I think my character is also practicing her pleading. I don't think she's as convincing as Alistair though, looking at how she's a pincushion.
Poor kid.
I prolly will confuse you more because I don't really know what I'm doing either. But I downloaded it, then using WinRAR to unzip, I could see the .exe program. Once I downloaded Python, the .exe had a Python icon and I open it. This brings up the screen where it is asking for a source file and destination file for your swap.PowerOverNothing wrote...
*hates to ask again* Does anyone really know a more simple way to make the FaceReplacer Mod...program...whatever load on my computer? It's kinda being stupid and won't pop up. Hmmm.Any help would be appriecated, of course. <3^_^

Ok so this shot - if you had made this new scene any hotter the poor guy would have spontaneously combusted. Or maybe I would have.

Isn't the normal map taken out of the 3D model? Usually from a high poly version of the model? And applied on the low poly one? Something like that... So you could take a normal map from the model and work it it...tmp7704 wrote...
Yeah these normal map things (the "n" files) are pretty tricky to work with, it's doable with some custom program maybe which i don't have, and i don't think it really works any good on smooth shapes like this... so i generally just paint such parts neutral grey and let the underlying shape work for itself.
Yes, it's either that if there's high poly version of the model made, or it is something painted/sculpted directly just like regular textures with program like ZBrush. Or as last resort it can be done by painting height field map and then using it to generate the normal map from it.laradenton wrote...

Or am I getting this wrong and you're talking about something else? I'm probably missing something here...

So what you're saying is that you need an artist to paint it to make it great. Got it.tmp7704 wrote...

It's just the normal mapping really shines when you're trying to create illusion of intricate, detailed surface with bumps, ridges and whathaveyou, it's very good at fooling the eye these details exist where they don't and the amount of detail draws attention away from possible inaccuracies. But for very smooth surfaces like breasts that illusion can easily break depending on camera angle so it can just detract from the final effect instead of add to it, imo.

I just jumped at the spontaneous combustion part. and the ironic thing is that I am working on that exact shot now.
(trying to improve cam angles) I was always self conscious about it.![]()

@Sarah1281: I'm starting to hate that image. Couldn't you use something else? To show that you're reviving the thread, as it seems you're there to post when it's dead...
