It looks very similar to FO3, but the movement is better, and the graphics look to be better as well.  Sorry you're not happy I suppose. Both my husband and I, since watching that, are really REALLY looking forward to it.  My husband keeps going back to FO3; loves the game completely, so his expectations are very high for New Vegas.

Yeah, I watched the marathons on Logo too. Though I don't usually watch Buffy because I never get a chance to. It's a shame, because I like the series.

Well I'm excited.

This is a good thing??  I have no clue about him.

But look at how the PC walks- like they have a corncob somewhere sensitive.  And the other animation and graphics look cartoonish and stick-figure-like compared to Fallout 3.  I mean, compare to this trailer from E3 2008.  I would expect that 2 years on from a big game, they'd actually improve things, not go backwards.

I used to play mine at 4:3 but I changed to 16:9 when I changed settings on my computer. The only things that changed was that the sides had huge black spaces.

When I was testing the new first night scene,  I was trying to figure out how some people had his whole hand on the bottom of the screen. I play at 16:9, and I only had the tips of fingers. When I switched to 4:3 (which was a little wonky on my widescreen monitor!) it showed the whole top of Alistair's hand.

I'm biased because I looooove Chris Avellone. If I get a chance to gush about him, I usually do. I can't watch the trailer because my computer hates YouTube right now, so I can't really pass judgement.

Spike and Giles hugged, Spike thinks his name is Randy and makes fun of it...classic! I'm watching them all on Netflix currently as I was a little young when the show was actually on.

I was in college when they started up, and we used to have weekly-buffyfests. It was pretty funny, since we were all studying for masters degrees in various science subjects, but would drop everything to watch the goings on in Sunnyvale. Guilty pleasures, I guess

I honestly don't see how anything went backwards.  I watched the two of them; they look like they're built on the same engine, yes, but no way does the New Vegas trailer look worse.

Or maybe I'm just tired and missing something.  That is possible.

He used to work for the now defunct Black Isles and works for Obsidian now. Black Isles made Planetscape:Torment and Obsidiant made my favorite game, KotOR 2. So...yes:P

I loved the show "Angel", also. In some ways I enjoyed it more, but it really depended on the season. I liked the character Angel more in later years than in early years, I felt he gained more depth as both shows went on.

I know it's a plot device but ignoring that...why on earth did the gypsies who cursed Angel only give him a soul when he was miserable? I know they wanted him to suffer and were pissed at him and all but wouldn't giving him a soul all the time be more practical? For all they knew he'd let himself get complacent and be happy and then his evil side would come out forever and all their hard work would be undone.

EDIT: I also liked the show, though I didn't like the fact that he was pining after Cordelia. I'm a Angel/Buffy fan.

I couldn't do it. Lyra recruited Zevran. I really thought she could kill him. But she...took over, gave him a helluva hard time, and ultimately insulted him by saying she would have him "serve her" when he refused to kill Loghain. Alistair disapproved. Grumpybutt.

Ah, I thought you were talking about the show "Angel", not the person. It was a pretty big flaw in their logic, the one moment of happiness and he's evil thing. The only thing I can think is they never thought he'd attain any that moment of happiness.
