I actually thought about something similar, which would make me die of happiness, probably. I have an idea for just a Brand/Bryce picture, but I don't know if Payroo would be the best one to do it.

Yup!  There are some games that I want to play, like a Warden ending, that is just too immersion breaking to do on the PS3 with no mods - plus, there's a character limit there (10 PCs, including Awakening!).  So I'm going to pick up the PC version + DLC as my reward for defending, don't think I'm going to get Awakening until I can get it on sale.  I'm most interested in dialogue fixes and the like, and being able to take screen shots!  At last!  Yay!

lol When I was at Best Buy yesterday getting photo paper for our research conference posters, I took a look to see if they didn't happen to have any DAO CE's for the PC left. Alas.  I want the bonus soundtrack and map!  But I suppose I can live without it....

Miliat's promised me a quick-sketch that should prove to be highly adorable, when she has time to do it.    But I have to admit, I'm dying to do an Aimo commission some day...hers are $25 for a sketch card, but she does F!Mahariel/Alistair so well that I think it would be worth it.  I wish SkaiLika did commissions, I love her elves too!

I like PayRoo's art, but I don't think the style is right for what I want.

Hehe. I didn't think I'd get so much Anders squee! Will post it here as well as the Anders thread when it's done, although I haven't got a response as yet - I think she's absolutely swamped with commissions at the moment.

My Alistair/Cousland commission from Aimo should be coming soon as well. I'm addicted to them. Really. Although I'm still sooooo in debt to Val51 for drawing my Miranda Cousland without me asking her to. I still have squee over that. For anyone who hasn't seen them..:

There's nothing wrong with doing it for the squee!  Some of the nicest pieces I've seen have been "fanart for fanfiction" and they're all the nicer for knowing the story behind them, but it's not requried to enjoy the piece itself.

You could do something out of Awakening, that doesn't touch upon your story(s).  Like maybe Brand giving Anders Ser Pounce-a-Lot?  I have this image of her just holding the kitten out by the scruff of the neck while Anders squees.
