EDIT: If your trying to get a morph for your PC that you made in the game using the CC, you can't.

The face replacer allows you to make .mors out of faces you made in game using the cc.

No I was playing around with the toolset... so I need to upload that one in a game? how?

Zeleen, what are you wanting to do? Do you want to put the face you just made in the toolset into a saved game?

Yes but I can't open the .das file for a saved game and I can't find any thing that says (character's name).das
and I don't know how to put the character I just created into a game

First you need a save that you're going to put her into. Once you have that save in your game, then you open the toolset.

Open the toolset. Then, in the toolset, go to:

Go to Open - My Documents/DragonAge/Characaters/ name of your character /saves/the last save (slot_?)/nameof your save.das

Once you have the file open, then you follow what Seri said.

SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR
SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR
SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE
SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE_MORPH_NAME (enter morph name w/ race prefix on empty line)

You expand each one of those lines until you can see the SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE_MORPH_NAME

Once you can see that then either type or paste the name of the character you just created there.

hf_zeleen.mor, or whatever it was.

What you want to do is pull the dds files named 0d, 0t, 0s and 0n from the erf that comes w/ Armor of the Sten.  You can either extract them or open them directly from the Toolset into Photoshop (I'm assuming you have the dds plugin from NVIDIA).  After you do that you want to rename those files to this:



Once you've done that you put those files into your override.  Since you're changing the files from qm to pf it shouldn't touch Armor of the Sten or Duncan's armor at all.

If you want to get her to the character creator, then instead of just "post to local" like you normally do, then first change the export settings to "true", and post to local.

It will save your character as a .mop file.

Then you can edit your changenmorph file to add her to your presets. Just add it like the other presets are named, but use your file name.

Ok, I do have the photoshop plugin installed, but I'm not seeing the 0t.dds file. Just the first 3. And I missed the ovverride part the first time, I'll remember that this time.

Just open one of the other dds files and then do new layer and dump black on it.  Then do save as and save it as the 0t file.  0t = tint these are what makes the files retintable using the other method.  If you're doing Photoshop reskin/retexture they just get in the way.

new layer, dump black, got it. I can see a change in the metal parts, it's darker but the rest hasn't changed. Unless I'm saving the dds wrong from PS. Which is likely it since I've not used this plugin yet.

Looks WAY better than my first one did, great job. The lighting in the toolset is so different from in game. I chose the regular black for Kasha but it looks brown in alot of in game lighting. But it's ok, thats pretty natural. My hair is dark dark brown until I get in the sun then you see red and copper.

Ugh my Jaina just broke up with Alistair for the 3rd time. I couldn't handle him hating her, HIS break up requires that. When I tried the Zev/Alistair choice the kicked puppy look was murder. So I finally used the birthright dialogue at camp. Much easier, and you can apologize and he'll tell you you're too pretty not to forgive.

So now I can tweak her as I saved her base file under a different name in toolset... this was kinda fun inspite of the frustrations...

lol Oh and get THIS. After the last time I was still getting that oh so HOT "something on your mind" after I apologized, but had to tent options. And since I felt bad, I gave him the amulet...



Apparently that route of breakup is reversible. Which means, you can actually HAVE a rocky relationship through the game I guess as long as you don't anger him TOO much. This could be an interesting playthrough afterall. If I can get these robes to cooperate.
