I have had a male opinion of the video, and he said some pretty valid points. He mentioned that Alistair looks way too secure in this video. The man doesn't really know what to do, and is usually embarrassed.He mentions an example that I should withdraw his gaze for a moment (in embarrassment). It is true..he does look quite secure..although loving to see the fems body for the first time , all his moves turn out too smooth and sure of himself. What do you think?

Well, from another male's point of view -- he didn't really look too secure in there, it's quite obvious the Warden actually leads him with that whole hands thing. And embarrassment may be one thing but a guy who actually turns head away when he gets a chance to stare at lovely pair of breasts for the first time, ones offered to him freely? Yeah, right*

The not knowing what to do thing is somewhat valid but then the scene doesn't exactly have Alistair perform whole Kama Sutra in one go, and the basic motions are well, basic. Not rocket science, if it required extensive tutoring before one is capable then we'd hardly be able to multiply as the species. It's, if anything, largely instinctual.

*) there may be guys like that. Alistair though never really struck me as such person. He's self-conscious, granted, but he is quite a regular guy underneath that, too.

The PC might herself be a virgin or at least inexperienced.  I think Alistair's shyness/ nervousness is conveyed very well in the scene, without it being exaggerated.  I mean, there should be shyness, but before too long passion would kick in and you're off to the races.  I think DahliaLynn's scene shows this very well.

Exactly. If you are RPing as a virgin yourself, then the scene is also perfect as is! I often RP a virgin with my HNF. I think it's just wonderful as is. If I had a complaint it would be that all the scenes aren't long enough!

I was actually hoping to get another male perspective
I really didnt mean extensive tutoring. just a little less security..it is obviously the first time, and of course the moves become natural quickly.,,but regarding the gaze..well, I meant a quick embarrased "I shouldnt be looking" kind of thing...chantry style.

But you have to remember that the pc is often rped as a virgin herself, you need to make sure she still can be.

Whoa, interesting. It looks quite different from what i get on my screen



studded leather/drakeskin is on far right, it has green and purple shades to it. Maybe the area where the screen is taken affects that, it's hard to tell. Or alternatively you have a custom tint file (or tint mask file) somewhere in the override folders

I think that would be fine.  Yes, a little "I can't believe I'm allowed to do this" would be appropriate.  It's obviously on his mind, since it's the first thing he brings up in the post-tent.

That  might be it. None of mine are ever virgins much less the nobles (hitting on Duncan, having no one look askance at you for seducing Iona or Dairren even if you announce it to Fergus in front of your parents...) and I'd rather just the 'awkward virgin' thing were out of the way.

I took a look right now out of curiosity as well. The studded armor I buy in Warden's Keep looks like whar Seri posted, but normally it resembles the one you posted. Hm.

NONONONO!!!! Men are visual.  Someone who has never seen it before is gonna be looking.  PERIOD.  He isn't going to be averting his eyes shyly,k thats a girl thing,not a guy thing.  Please don't muck with it, I LIKE it like it is!!!

@cmessaz oh yes...I would love the opportunity to make the scene longer. when was the last movie you have scene with a 30 45 sec love scene?
@Addai67 yes that is what happens currently..just hearing it from a guy...sort of brought things into a slightly different perspective for me, which was why I asked.
@Sarah1281 yes that was my exact point...seems understood well though btw I can't do multiple quotes from **different***posts without manually going from page to page and manually quoting copy/paste

Sorry, I wasn't clear.  That piece is from Warden's Keep.  Perhaps Warden's Keep pieces don't use a tint map at all.  It must be just a recolor?  I used the Upgrade Wand to change the tier and regardless of tier it still shows up as the same blue/tan combination.  I also tried pulling out all of my model alteration files I just get the default female version of the armor in the same color scheme.

One more time with feeeeeeeeling! I took out my entire override folder so there are no mods whatesoever. And I took pictures in both Denerim and WK to account for the light changes.

Left is default T7. Right is Warden Keep T7.





Edit: Oh, and my fraps takes screenshots at .60 gamma. The differences could just be my video card.

Exactly Dahlia, you're thinking like a girl.  the only guy (virgin or not)who wouldn't be looking at a naked woman is a blind man.  They WILL look, that avert the eyes thats a girl thing. OMG don't turn Alistair into a GIRL!!!!  I like the scene as is!!!

wow, you are right! -monestary--!!I suppose once I wil complete the elf version I might make a very minor change. if I see it doesnt work well I will  just leave it as it is..
