You know, you're right: I do start fights a lot. You may not believe that it's unintentional but it really doesn't matter. One thing I can say ist that I'm not deliberately insulting people and you keep attacking me and it's really uncalled for. I'm just trying to keep the peace by pulling back since a lot of the things I post do lead to arguments and this thread has had enough of that at the moment.

One interesting thing to note is that whenever it looks like I or anyone else has insulted someone everyone always jumps to their defense. Always. And yet in the day since you started coming after me despite the fact I don't recall ever actually interacting with you before no one has said a goddamn thing. That's really telling and frankly I don't want anything to do with this thread right now because of how deafening that silence is.

Don't even bother responding, I probably won't read it and I don't care if I'm taking it too personally or blowing it out of proportion. I tend to do that.

You know, I have had more disagreements with you than most, and I for one would hate to see you stop hanging out here.

That's because unlike you I know when to simply not respond.  You know that little voice in your head that says, "Hey!  this is probably a stupid idea.".  I generally try to listen to that voice. 

In regards to your personal defense.  I suppose there could be people that want to defend you.  Unfortunately it would be ultimately futile because as most people that know me know, I simply don't care.  I don't care if I hurt your feelings.  I don't care if you're having yourself a big fat EMO cry right now. 

That's just the type of person I am.  Which is probably a poor one.  I have absolutely no love for humanity or people in general.  This world could burn in 2012 and I'd raise my glass to the occasion.

One of the things with this fandom I've noticed is that because the characters can be bent and shaped around your world like a legoset, everyone gets it into their heads that their approach to the fandom is canon.



Arguments usually start, especially on the gush/fan threads, because people are passionate about their point of view/canon. Because of this, it's very easy to get offended and/or rile someone up when their fannish endevours are dismissed or told, "LOLNO." If things are discussed in a nice, polite manner, sometimes you can change people's view and/or yours will change. Zevthread has subtly shifted my approach to Zevran like woah, but my canon Zev is still different to yours, for example.



Like all things diplomacy and a streak of humanity when talking to people about it. Dragon Age can be a bit of a watercolour stain and vague, and people read so much into it; it's not going to exacly be the same words as you, if you get my meaning.
