It would be a horrible shame if we could continue our Wardens and not have Alistair.

One of the things with this fandom I've noticed is that because the characters can be bent and shaped around your world like a legoset, everyone gets it into their heads that their approach to the fandom is canon.

Arguments usually start, especially on the gush/fan threads, because people are passionate about their point of view/canon. Because of this, it's very easy to get offended and/or rile someone up when their fannish endevours are dismissed or told, "LOLNO." If things are discussed in a nice, polite manner, sometimes you can change people's view and/or yours will change. Zevthread has subtly shifted my approach to Zevran like woah, but my canon Zev is still different to yours, for example.

Like all things diplomacy and a streak of humanity when talking to people about it. Dragon Age can be a bit of a watercolour stain and vague, and people read so much into it; it's not going to exacly be the same words as you, if you get my meaning.

I genuinely agree with all points made. 

But ya'll are going to feel so silly when this guy shows up in DA2:

If the release isn't in spring 2011 that doesn't have to mean anything.

And if he isn't going to be there, that is a step towards the DA2 I want (nothing against Alastair, I just want to relocate).

Yeah, I kind of agree. I love Alistair, he's awesome, but I wouldn't be disappointed if he wasn't in DA2 as long as we weren't playing our original Wardens. If we were, that would just make me mad. But I kinda want to play a new character.

I have this thing about pixelated body hair wherein it makes my skin crawl for some reason. This is a holdover from my Sims playing days; I could never get into any skin texture with hair on it. I don't love the Ken chest look, but it will have to do.

That SV hasn't been asked to voice yet doesn't mean anything. Voice over acting doesn't take very long - they shut you in a booth for a couple of days and that's it. It's almost certainly one of the last things they do for any game.



And I don't think the Feb date is DA2. I'm thinking another expansion.



Aaaaand the fact that Leliana's actress knew about the DLC ages ago makes me think they shut them all in booths and did EVERYTHING for the expansions and DLCs back when they were doing DA:O, so there's a possibility of more SV stuff even if he's not doing voice overs at the moment. (that's what I'm telling myself any way).

Immature, sometimes.  I have to admit I sometimes giggle at poop jokes still.  Insecure, not really.  I'm completely comfortable with who I am and the skin I'm in.  That's something most women can't honestly say. 



New light armor soon.  Probably either late tonight or tomorrow depending on how drunk I am when I get home.
