Hahaha! Domestic-violence-Alistair? That's a new twist
I agree, the PC shouldn't be angry with him at all. He makes it very clear how he feels. I could see it creating some insecurity in a femPC down the road though, and maybe resentment in Alistair too... unless they have a really honest and open relationship where they can talk about all their feelings from that night.
I partially agree. I see it as something that comes flying out of her mouth in a fit of indignation or rage. Kasha did it in my fic when he confronted her about Nate. Saying "Did I EVER question you after that night with Morrigan? No!".
Low blow. Really low blow.
Heat of the moment. She had just come back to the palace, after the architect, the mother, saving Amaranthine, not seeing him for god only knows how long...at least 6 months of the first year they were married. She gets home, expecting to have a reunion filled with joy and happiness and smiles and he accuses her of f***ing Nathaniel the MINUTE he gets her alone. Low blow? yep, and so was the accusation. Does she feel awful about it later? hell yeah she will. Or maybe, just MAYBE it stems from the guilt she feels STILL for ever asking him to do it.
(I'm approaching their marriage based on what I see alot of with Ken's soldiers. They get married, they expect rainbows and puppies, and they don't understand it's a learning process. The wedding is easy, marriage is learned.
Edit...quoting for context
"I have been fighting monsters, the likes of which you have never seen. Things that make the blight and arch demon look like a children's puppet show in the market district. I did it all, while half of my heart was here in your hands. When I finally return, you've heard a rumor and suddenly, I'm an untrustworthy cheating ****? And what of you? Have I ever questioned you? We both know how I survived that arch demon don'twe? We know what you did with Morrigan. Yet never did I doubt you."
