I found it amusing too, I don't really hate him that much, I just tried to be funny by drawing faces on him, and ended up offending people.

To be honest, that is why I have not done anymore xbox screenies.  The Leliana pictures offended Leliana fans.  The Ron pictures offended people who don't care about Ron.  I like to joke about things, and I am never serious.  But people have taken my jokes personally, so I stopped. 

I think its been a lot less fun all around in the past couple weeks.

See, I love Leliana and I don't mind the setting her aflame. I also love Ron (duh) and am mostly amused by people's negative reactions to him.

I'm going to rescind my BW blame and blame KoP for going home. I think he's been the secret glue that has held us all together.

See, this is what I don't get.  I mean, I didn't go into the Leliana thread and set her on fire.  And I would honestly think a picture of Alistair on fire or some such would be hilarious. I made a screenie of him getting stabbed by the hurlock in DSC, and it was FUNNY (at least in my head).   Maybe my sense of humor doesn't come across over the internet so well.

 Maricstair rage has become an artistic meme of its own, far be it from me to squelch yours and yuki's creativity.    I'm not upset, just explaining one reason among others I preferred to go do other things for a few days than keep up my fangirl duties here.  If I've had squee, I've been putting it into getting Idun and Alistair beyond the rubicon in my silly little story.

Someone should make a shot of Vanillastair and Maricstair kissing and making up.  LOL

I may just be speaking for myself here, but I am honestly a fan of ALL the characters.  I'm a fan of the entire DA world.  I'm a fan of Loghain for being an evil bastard.  I'm a fan of Anora for being an evil b!tch.  I'm a fan of Leliana, she's just not my favorite.

If a non-fan of Alistair came in here and dropped some pic of Alistair on fire, it would make me laugh (as long as it was done well )  I would not think for one second of being offended that someone is making fun of a fictional character.  But everyone thinks differently, and I think we all forget that sometimes (including myself).

Its actually very empty in there, and everyone seems to have wandered off. Most are people who just pop in from the ME boards. If you can excuse me I have to go get insulted through the Dalish camp again. Really wishes for a renegade interrupt or two.

My only issue is when people post pictures making fun of the PLAYERS of the game, not the characters. The amount of torture we have put Alistair through in this thread all in the name of fun doesn't bother me at all. It also pretty much makes the thread troll proofed.

Yeah, I have the series, but I can't finish.  I think it's the overwhelming and constant awfulness that gets to me.  And this is a person who loves Stephen King and whose favorite series is the Dark Tower.  I can handle pain and like screwing with the characters, but there has to be some relief.

Read it and found some extremely interesting things in it, and some stupid ones as well.  If you want I can post my 15 page zombie surviavl plan (counting pictures), I made for a grade 11 english project.  I cant believe I did it, but I had escape routes, plans, destinations, and equipment actually planned.  Mostly I was going to my uncle's cabin in Kenora.

My friends and I have already worked out our plan.  Where to redevous first, best defensible positions, etc...

I think we have too much time on our hands.

Nope, in fact i'm quite disappoint that the game helmets disable the hair... it's logical but kind of removes ability to convert these mage traffic cones into some neat era-appropriate glasses for them...
