The leggings look baggy? Where? Only time I see baggy is when you put on medium armor.

I do think the "slimming black" looks really good on the HF figure.  Not that the HF figure is not already slim, but it just looks classy without making them seem scrawny like my poor elves.

Between the proportions fix, Warden garments, and underwear fix... I'm betting Alistair would share his stash of favorite cheese with tmp and buy him a beer for the fact that his elven chicks have got booty now.

Got booty

Got booty here, too

Actually, seeing as how tmp's mods produce many more trips to the tent, Alistair owes tmp a LOTof beer.

Sometimes it can be a bit much, especially from unflattering angles.

You could kill the archdemon with that booty!

Sit on him?

Exactly.  That's like booty out of a Japanese monster movie.

Yea remember Axe I was the one who got you to get TMP's elf proportion armor fix using the "baby got back" argument.

Does Connor actually say that they were books on blood magic?  As I recall, he just says they were books on magic that Jowan didn't want him to read.  I interpreted it that they were too advanced for him, not that they were necessarily about blood magic.

He doesn't have to say they were about blood magic it's highly obvious, although Jowan does confirm it.

It's let out in the Circle tower that Uldred had been 'accidently' leading apprentices to forbidden books on BM and secretly manipulating training to push some towards using Blood Magic (along with outright teaching I would wager if he had a tiny army ready to storm the meeting halls), so the books Connor got ahold of are the same ones from the shelf Irving emptied out after the damage had already been done in the beginning of the Circle Tower.

The Couslands were entirely on Howe. He was a psycopath, saw he could get a bunch of assassins beside Bryce while he had no troops, and not only had no witnesses but a convienient army of fall guys to pin the blame on. It came as a shock to both Calian and Loghain they were wiped out. Now, would Loghain had approved of it or even helped put it in action, that's up for debate. I think he might have if he thought they wouldn't bend knee when he tried to solidify power 'for Anora', but Howe was acting completely on his own on that part.

I found myself surprised by the extra Loghain troopers you pick up for the Tower quest. Once the cutscene played that saw Calian and Duncan die, and it swapped back to my character I was sure they were going to try to assassinate myself and Alistair as part of some diabolical plan, and this was before even knowing Al was heir. I have to wonder that if he did everything people want to pin on him : Wipe out the other Teryn, Ruin the Circle, Wipe out the Grey Wardens, take down the most influental Arl, then why he didn't have a plan in place for the only person with the bloodline to give him any sort of challenge. If he's that thorough, then thinking 'Alistair is too flaky to be a threat' wouldn't come into play.

I think Loghain planned many things, but they all went to hell for various reasons:

With Wynne he says he would not have destroyed the greatest weapon Ferelden had (Mages), that was clearly Uldred going Loco and getting possessed that screwed it up.

D Gaider said that the poision was only to make Eamon very ill, not to outright kill him. Mostly to get him out of the way so he could easily steam roll oppopsition and get called regent. There are hundreds of poisions that could make him sick and kill him overnight, all of them easily known to any powerful person in a medieval setting. Also the whole demonic invasion thing, no one could have seen that happening.

I doubt Loghain would believe that the Couslands are traitors on any level I mean they have always been with Ferelden for generations. Maybe he thought they would not stand with him, who knows. But it seems out of charachter for Loghain to massacare people that early on, on a very big maybe.

I think most of his plans where broken from unintended concequences not outright malice.

Right, I RPed my first blood mage as having been one of Uldred's pets.

The Couslands were entirely on Howe.

I know Gaider says that, and so you have to accept it, but it makes no sense that Loghain would not have also planned something for the Couslands.  In-game, certainly, my HN characters are convinced Loghain was in on it.  As is Bann Sighard, judging by his gossip in the tavern.

I think he uses them for the ritual involving Isolde.

I don't remember Sighard or his gossip, I'll have to look that up. I take it that's the one guy who always votes for Loghain no matter what you do?

No, that's Ceorlic. Sighard is the father of the teen you save in Howe's dungeon.

As far as the links to my mods earlier, I totally wasn't trying to self promote, but they were at 5100 and 300 visits. I have a number "thing" and that creeped me out.

I know for my HN playthroughs, It doesn't matter that he wasn't in on it at the outset. DG says he wasn't and that's fine. But he WAS an accomplice after the fact. In fact that goes for the City Elf slavery, and tortured Nobles too, he knew what Howe did and allowed it, and rewarded him several times over with more power and titles. He shares the guilt as equally as if he had done the deeds by Howe's side.  He was directly responsible for poisoning Eamon, and indirectly for the chaos that ensued.  I don't however connect him to the catastrophe at the Circle, that was all Uldred.  So even if he DID make the decision at Ostagar for reasons other than killing Cailan, it was still at the very least desertion and dereliction of duty.

Edit: And this is why he never gets a reprieve from my wardens, except the one time for the achievement, that I kept for future playing.

I agree. The fact that he rewards Howe for the deed pisses my nobles off pretty bad. Esp if you spoke to him in Ostagar and he knows there is a surviving Cousland.

Does he? It's a reasonable assumption - barring any abominations of legend swooping down to save you from the darkspawn-overrun Tower - that you died at Ostagar.

But no-one can deny that he purposely blamed the wardens for his own FU at Ostagar and that alone in my book condemns him. Fair enough you screw up but to then attempt to blame others for your screw ups... Gone. Alistair can have you.

Yes, he does. You talk to him before the battle and tell him, and he knows what happened to your family and EXACTLY who you are when he puts out the bounty.
